We don’t usually do much for Valentine’s Day. This year we are going to the Savannah Book Festival and we have tickets to closing remarks and book signing by Anne Rice and Christopher Rice. I’m very excited.

  2. Brianne

Plans for dinner in tomorrow as it is supposed to snow and ice skating on Sunday, weather permitting 🙂

  3. Cheryl Hastings

No plans, going to snow again, we’re staying home and warm! Wish we were on a warm, sandy beach 🙂

  4. doveknoll

I have to work all weekend so no plans. I don’t have a sweetie anyway so again no plans. Lol. I would have taken my youngest out if I didn’t have to work all night. The best Valentine’s date was one I had years ago with an old boyfriend. He came to my door with one long stemmed rose, took me on horse drawn carriage ride, then to an authentic Greek restaurant. We ended the date on lookout point overlooking the city lights. It was the most amazing date I’ve ever had. So romantic.

  5. veRONIca

A bunch of girls and I (both single and with guys) are getting together and hiing a Galentines chocolate fondue party. It shall be delicious!

  6. katielowden

I actually have a hair appt., only time I could get it, but will be relaxing! I think my husband and I will actually be able to get out for dinner! 🙂

  7. Sue G.

Nothing planned but if I could dream up a fantasy…..fly to Italy for a romantic dinner then take a canal ride in Venice.

  8. nicholskathy

My husband & I usually just go out to get something to eat but the last several yrs we haven’t done anything at all. I’d love to be taken out for a very special gourmet feast & then some type of carriage ride through a park or a night time cruise. Going overseas to enjoy the holiday would be even better – if your going to dream might as well go BIG – LOL. Thx for the opportunity!

  9. Lenore1216

We don’t have anything special planned. A perfect date would be a nice dinner and a movie, but we don’t do that very often.

  10. mrsmac19

No major plans this Valentine’s Day. I went to dinner with my husband sans kids tonight. I’m sure I’ll eat copious amounts of chocolate this weekend!

  11. Leanna

No plans, I will spend the evening with my puppy Libby. I would love to spend Valentines Day in Paris.

  12. Ellen C.

This year, a quiet dinner at home with friends. (My husband is cooking.) Dream date would be a trip somewhere warm and sunny. Happy Valentine’s Day!

  13. Michelle Harlan

I’m excited because for the first time in 7 years, the hubs & I are going out for Valentine’s Day! We’re going to have dinner & see The Kingsman at Alamo Drafthouse. It’s gonna’ be great to have an evening out without the kids.

  14. glam009

No plans …. 🙁 just stay at home but I would love to spend valentines day going to the movies or a romantic dinner 🙂

  15. Pennie M

This year since it is so #$#!$%! cold, I mean really, really $#$#@E# cold, we are snuggling in. 🙂

  16. belindaegreen

I don’t have any personal plans this year. I agreed to babysit my grandson so my daughter and hubby can have a great Valentine celebration. I’ll be eating chocolate, pizza, and listening to tall tales. 🙂

Thanks for the opportunity to share.

    Belinda G

  17. Rachael Brown

My husband and I don’t have any romantic plans. We are visiting with family and having a birthday party for my son.

  18. Patoct

The last few years we had friends over for dessert and coffee. We had the superbowl this year and are doing the dessert thing next week at another friend’s house. We had dinner out today to beat the rush.

  19. mskind81

No plans, and I think the best I had, I will do for my daughter one day. I had just got out of a long relationship, my mom surprised me with balloons and all kinds of goodies. It was very sweet!

  20. irishpax

I have 3 options planned out and hubby gets to chose tomorrow… it’s going to be his day…. my wish is just to spend the day with him and read a book (I hope)

  21. BSBbabe

I’m going out to see 50 Shades of Grey with a good friend, then we are going out afterwards to dissect the movie, having dinner and maybe some wine. I never had any fantasy Valentine’s Day plans except to be with someone who loved me.

  22. Melody Gonser

I think a Valentine’s scavenger hunt would be exciting. There are so many different ways you could go with that. It could be done with very little money or a lot if wanted. Being creative would work so well.
My granddaughter is spending the day and night. We are making cookies, Valentines and just having fun. A cocoa party , dress up, do our nails and toes.

  23. Sylve T.

single this year and i think me and my BFF are just going to do take out and watch chick flicks at home! my best imagined date would be for this year to see with a hot sexy man and see Fifty Shades of Grey followed by a home cooked meal made together and then some “one-on-one time”
    ; ) hehehe.

  24. Debbi Wellenstein

We are going to our favorite restaurant for a lovely dinner, and we are going to a show afterwards.

  25. Brooke

I will be working on Valentine’s Day. But since I work at the library, I get to be surrounded by book boyfriends. 🙂 I would love a quiet, romantic dinner at a fine dining restaurant.

  26. Jennifer T

Spending time with my husband and our dog 🙂 Every day is a Valentine’s for us, we don’t just celebrate and have romance one night a year.

  27. marcyshuler

I have candy for hubby and our boys, but he has to work tomorrow. He did surprise me by saying he’d bring home Chinese for dinner tomorrow. My favorite. Usually he doesn’t even remember holidays so this is HUGE for him. LOL

  28. Morgan Van Lier

I don`t have a Valentine, so no big plans. I plan to spend the day reading and watching movies…romance of course.

  29. Irma Jurejevčič

I have nothing planed. Our daughter is going to a birthday party and me and my parnter are having some time for ourselves… This is enough.

  30. barby parker

No plans this yr. But last yr my husband took me to a very nice restaurant with a 4 course meal. Very romantic.

  31. Teja K.

Not really, I’m going to stay at home and watch some movies, maybe read a book. And the best Valentine’s date for me would be just spending the day with my boyfriend, nothing special.

  32. Rachel Brimble

My best Valentine’s date would be to spend another night at Ashford Castle where my husband and I went last summer – beautiful!

  33. Marianne W

Champagne brunch today with our best friends. She’s my best friend and her husband is my husband’s best friend. Who could ask for anything more?!?!!?

  34. Suzanne

I do not need candy. However, Valentine’s Day is a justification for a box of candy. I look forward to that candy every year.

  35. laurieg72l

This year my older sister and her husband are visiting us in Florida. we will take our 90 mother out for dinner.

We don’t like to shop so, no presents. My gift is free time to read.

  36. Maureen

We are just having a nice dinner but if I could go anywhere I would love for us to have dinner in a warm spot overlooking the ocean.

  37. We're Jumpin' Books

We went out last night, and I have to say Do Not Watch Kingsman, I fell asleep through most of it lol! Any time spent with my husband is always great in my book. Today (Valentine’s Day) will be about spending time with my babies (7yr old girl and an almost 2 yr old little boy). I hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day, and I hope your day is all you dreamed it will be.

  38. Lisa M

No plans … laundry and cleaning are what’s on my to do list today!
Probably watch a movie at home with my man …
Best Valentine’s date … would have to be imagined … I’d love a marriage proposal on valentines day as corny as that sounds! LOL

  39. Barb

The best Valentine would be a surprise getaway to a Luxery Spa for a couples day! Then a long walk through one of the resorts moonlight lit paths, then a nice cozy dinner followed by a midnight swim capped off by night of “snuggle” time!

  40. kathryntate

Him sitting on the couch watching a game with me leaning into him reading a book and we both drink wine. Then him whispering I love you, Happy Valentines Day. That would be a dream come true.

  41. laurajacobson

Oh I am staying home with my grandson and letting the kids go out! We are going to have a heart shaped pizza, and make Valentines day cupcakes with sprinkles! 🙂
I actually had a BEST Valentines Day date about 15 years ago…it was so magical!

  42. Lynnette

I have a hot, candlelight date with a bubble bath. The best date would be spending the day in pajamas, or in bed.

  43. AmandaS

I’m spending the weekend celebrating three birthdays in my family! And of course eating chocolate and reading all the books! 😉

  44. Ashley H.

I’ve spent the day eating way too much cake and binge watching Netflix!
I guess the best Valentines date would be in Paris (kinda cliche right?) but I’ve always wanted to go, and that would be a very romantic and beautiful place to spend any holiday!

  45. Nicole Potter

My husband and I have a Valentine’s tradition of eating pizza and watching movies! It keeps us away from the busy crowds at restaurants and theaters, but still let’s us spend time together 🙂

However this year, since we had to go out of town for one of my doctor’s appointments on Thursday, we ended up eating out at one of our favorite spots (Panda Express – yum!) And we went and saw Jupiter Acending in theaters! Btw – it was Soooooo good! 🙂

  46. angela smith

had no plans for valentines day.a cabin in the woods away from everyone a nice dinner ,light a fire in the fireplace, cozy up on the couch and watch a movie

  47. Kelly Clevinger Bernard

Cold and snowy. We stayed in and had heart-shaped pizza and chocolate chocolate chip cake! It was actually very nice and relaxing.

  48. Emily Smith

My husband works Fridays-sundays, so it was just me and the kids on Valentine’s Day. We watched movies and ate heart shaped pizza. But my husband did bring me home two dozen white roses (my favorite).
