A Yorkshire Christmas by Kate Hewitt: Claire Lindell was running away. She knew that, and as a grown woman she knew she needed to, so here A-Yorkshire-Christmasshe was in England all alone for Christmas. Which wouldn’t be bad except for the near blizzard she was driving in. When the car goes off the road and she starts walking all Claire can think of is what future is she walking towards?

Noah Bradford is a solitary kind of a guy and he’s okay with that. He has his dog and his sheep, what more does a man need? Then this “surprise” blizzard pops up and he has to rescue an ewe. What he wouldn’t give for another pair of hands. Then she appears.

Is it Christmas magic that brings these two together? Or just an ewe? Is it Christmas magic that keeps them together or Noah’s daughter? Whatever happens leading up to Christmas is it enough to keep them past Christmas or will this too become a happy holiday memory?

In this sweet novella Ms. Hewitt takes us to Ledstow England and gives us some Christmas magic. It’s a sweet world that revolves around her two main characters adding in really only one other person but the focus that is given makes it really work. This is a sweet read that will make you go awww and believe in peace, Christmas magic and love.

Wealthy New York City girl Claire Lindell isn’t looking for a Christmas miracle or happiness when she abruptly decides to hole up for the holiday at her godmother’s cottage in a little Yorkshire village, and lick her wounds from a near disastrous romantic decision.

After her car skids into a snow bank, Claire may have accidently found her perfect Christmas and the family and love she’s craved when she offers Noah Bradford of Ayesgill Farm help to push the back end of one of his sheep out of the icy mud, even if she’s going to ruin a brand new pair of Prada boots during the rescue.

What’s a little leather when love’s on the line?
