REVIEW: Bedfellows by Lola Leighton

Bedfellows by Lola Leighton: Will and Sullivan are best friends, business partners, and the only family they’ve ever known. They are incredibly close and couldn’t imagine ever leading separate lives, including when it comes to romantic relationships. They are opposites in many ways, but they both value marriage and family and are looking for one woman to be their partner. Both are handsome and sexy, but Will is quiet, brooding, and cautious compared to Sullivan who is outgoing, fun, and more of a risk-taker.

Adrienne is smart, sassy, and grew up in a very conservative household. She’s close to her family and loves owning her own hair salon. She has more traditional expectations for any relationship, so she’s surprised that she is so intrigued by Will and Sullivan’s offer. Relationships are difficult enough with only one man in the equation, much less with two long-time best friends. She’s attracted to both men and doesn’t quite know how a relationship could ever work.

“I told you, it’s all good. Let’s just enjoy a beverage and a nice meal together.”
“That’s it?” I asked.
Sullivan shrugged, running one hand through his messy hair, making his bicep jump as he flexed. “Sometimes fate has a funny way of bringing people together.”

Will and Sullivan are persistent and go after what they want and they definitely want Adrienne. Convincing her to try a ménage relationship is only the beginning, as Adrienne has to deal with and stand by her men when facing the judgment of others. Will and Sullivan are protective, generous, caring, attentive, and creative as boyfriends. There is plenty of chemistry, heat, and banter as Adrienne finds her role in their unconventional relationship.

“You know she’s only jealous,” I said, once the waitress was gone.
“She’d give anything to be in your shoes right now,” Will added.
Adrienne’s lips tipped up into a smile. “I don’t know. These shoes are pretty uncomfortable.”
“Smartass,” Will muttered under his breath.

Bedfellows is sexy and oh so hot. Lola Leighton provides the perspective of each of the main characters while dialing up the tension and anticipation. Ms. Leighton delivers conflict, drama, friendship, and romance. Fans of Nicole Edwards and Opal Carew will enjoy Bedfellows.

I wasn’t looking to fall for one man. Let alone two…

Sullivan and Will are as close as two friends can be. Growing up in the system forced them to rely on each other, and they’ve become accustomed to sharing everything—including women.

Now they’re ready for more. To find love. To start a family. To see the dreams they’ve shared since childhood come true.

Apparently I tick off every box on their list—brains, beauty, and sass. I never hesitate to put both men in their places—which they find sexy as hell.

One problem, I’m a traditional girl, with traditional values—one man, one woman, till death do us part—kind of values.

They’re willing to work to prove how very right the three of us could be, but what happens next is anyone’s guess…

Warning: This book is packed with hot, passionate love that doesn’t know any boundaries, so sit back, enjoy and get ready for a smutily-ever-after.
