Billionaire on the Loose by Jessica Clare: Taylor is fun, quirky, and loyal. She loves fantasy Billionaire-on-the-Loosebooks and movies, comics, and role-playing video games. She’s definitely in a minority as a woman when it comes to playing her games, but she plays key roles in her virtual gamers group. She’s been spending a bit too much time in her role-playing games, and her good friend has just the plan to bring her back into the real world.

Loch has a fairly easy life. He’s an absolute catch as he’s worldly, wealthy, sexy, and titled. He enjoys playing sports, hanging out with his mates, and putting in some appearances on behalf of the royal family. He is a gentleman and very generous. Due to some unusual royal politics, he’s forced to stay in New York for an unspecified period of time and fill in as the newest groomsman.

Taylor is not happy with Gretchen playing matchmaker. Taylor and Loch are pretty much complete opposites. They have an interesting first meeting and he’s introduced to just how much of a klutz she can be. Taylor tends to be unaware of her effect on and is nervous around men, but she hits it off with Loch from the beginning.

He threw his head back and laughed. “You are a constant surprise, Taylor.”
“Hope you like surprises.”
The laughter faded into a sultry smile. “Love them, actually.”

Taylor isn’t like other women and she doesn’t just fall in line with Loch’s wishes. He finds himself in unusual situations, like pursuing Taylor, and learns a lot about himself. Most guys don’t seem to understand, or try to understand, Taylor’s involvement in the video games, but Loch does.

“Scars are just a side-effect of any game.” He replaced the bandage.
“Yeah, but my game involves sitting in a computer chair. Takes a special kind of skill to hurt yourself doing that.”
“To be fair, you never even made it to your chair.”

Billionaire on the Loose is absolutely entertaining and hooked me from the first page. Jessica Clare wrote great banter and provided a good balance of humor, heat, romance, and friendship. Ms. Clare created engaging characters and a heroine that is reminiscent of the feisty, quirky, and klutzy heroines of Jill Shalvis. Billionaire on the Loose can be read as a standalone in the Billionaires and Bridesmaids series. Fans of Jill Shalvis, Elia Winters, and Cora Carmack will enjoy Billionaire on the Loose.

The New York Times bestselling author of the Billionaire Boys Club novels is back with a sexy, sweet romance that proves opposites definitely attract…

Taylor is a genius when it comes to computers, but understanding the opposite sex is beyond her. Because she always fumbles her flirtations, she needs help in finding her Prince Charming. So when her friend, Gretchen, sets her up as a tour guide for a new guy in town, she says yes despite her misgivings.

She just doesn’t expect Mr. Charming to actually be royalty…

A faction in his country wants him to be king, but Loch has no intention of taking the crown. To keep from being named as the next successor, he hatches a scheme to marry a totally unacceptable American woman. Quirky Taylor seems like the perfect person for the job, until Loch realizes he likes more about her than her ability to keep him off the throne.

When Loch’s secret schemes come out, his chance of happiness with Taylor are blown—unless he can find a way to get the nerdy object of his affection to believe she’s truly the queen of his heart…
