MistakeBride by Mistake by Nicole Helm: Kaitlin Shuller was very focused and with her there weren’t a lot of colors, just black and white, right and wrong. Which is why it was so very wrong her sister was marrying the man Kaitlin had planned on marrying since third grade. So when after all the duties of the day were done and she saw the town bad boy, Beckett Larson, around she was going to change some of those rules she had about her own life. What the future would hold? Well that was something even she couldn’t plan.

This is one in the Montana Born Bride Series that can be read as a stand alone though as a novella fits really well into this series. Ms. Helm does a great job at drawing the reader further into the Marietta weddings and proving that sometimes the walls we erect to protect ourselves only serve to hide us from great opportunities. The characters are fairly well developed given the amount of space as was the plot. This had the potential to be a great full length but was a good novella. Pick it up for something a bit unexpected and with a little bit more of a twist than you are expecting in a HEA.

Thanks for the review, Valerie. I collect each Tule miniseries and read the novellas one after the other. I love a reformed bad boy.
