REVIEW: Finally a Bride by Renee Andrews

Finally a Bride by Renee Andrews is a beautiful and touching story about Haley, a local young veterinarian, and Gavin, a teacher and counselor for a group home for orphaned children. Haley has started a project to share animals with the children, and meets the first child, Eli, when he and Gavin bring in a dog they rescued on the street. Haley and Gavin’s relationship is quite rocky at first- he doesn’t have faith in her experience, and is afraid to become friendly with the beautiful doctor. Eli and Haley form a quick and close bond when she agrees to do her best to treat and heal the injured dog.

Haley and Gavin begin to spend time together due to the dog he and Eli continue to visit while the dog is in her care, and due to Haley’s project to bring animals to the group home for interaction with the children.
I find it touching that Gavin and Haley agree to be friends only, and in the process form a caring and enjoyable friendship- which is a strong basis for romantic relationships. Both adore Eli and try to find ways to build up the boys self este.eem.

Will Eli have a new home found for him? Will Gavin and Haley move past friendship to a future together? To find out, pick up a copy of Finally a Bride!
