Finally His Bride by Maisey Yates: Melanie Richards had spent a lot of time protecting herself. It Finallywas the only life she really knew. She also grew up falling in love with her best friend who couldn’t seem to see her as anything other than his best friend. So when she made a last ditch effort to get him to see her as a woman and he didn’t, she finally decided it was time to move on.

Luke Shuller was not a happy man. He just lost his best friend and his sister, well that was a whole other story he wasn’t happy about so when he goes into the bar and sees his second best friend dressed like a woman there was not going to be a happy ending. She was not going to change his life as well.

Melanie and Luke have been best friends forever but things are changing, can they stay best friends? Or will they finally wake up and see there just may be more to this relationship?

Maisey Yates has done it again with this trip back to Marietta. In a short novella she gives us characters to fall in love with and scream at as well as story that makes you smile. While Melanie might not have the strongest backbone in the world Ms. Yates is able to explain most of that as well. This is definitely a smile worthy novella perfect for a quick fling.
