In Her Little White Lie by Maisey Yates, Paige Harper can’t believe her little white lie has made the headlines. The only way to secure the adoption of her best-friend’s daughter was to fake an engagement with her boss. Now she can hear him marching down the corridor to fire her!

HLWLDante is angry at first when he sees the headline but after hearing Paige’s side of story and the reason she told the lie, he decides to make use of the situation in the best way possible. The press have spent years cultivating Dante’s devilish persona, but now he wonders if this ‘engagement’ could be an opportunity to change that.

Paige will wish he had fired her when she hears his terms: if she wants his ring she’ll have to play the part of devoted wife in public and in private…

Her Little White Lie by Maisey Yates is a well written and cute romance about two completely opposite characters. Paige is funny, optimistic and free spirited. She is the kind of heroine that you know is gonna light up the hero’s cynical and dark world. She has her flaws and yes she is a little insecure too because of her upbringing but you just can’t help loving her.

Dante is a sexy, brooding and dark hero and is famous for his devilish persona. I loved how Paige lights shows him he is capable of love after all and the way Dante helps her tackle her insecurities. They both help each other to heal and the addition of Paige’s adoptive daughter makes their journey even more enjoyable.

Overall, Her Little White Lie by Maisey Yates is a well written, cute and emotional romance with the perfect amount of everything. If you are a die hard romantic who believes love conquers all, then do not miss out on this one..!!
