In Her Perfect Cowboy by Trish Milburn, India Pike has a picture of her perfect man in her mind, and a cowboy is not it. After the parents she had, she can’t wait to get as far away as possible from them, and only being a sophisticated woman, traveling the world and being surrounded by pretty things is going to make that happen.

HPCLiam Parrish has been burned by a sophisticated woman once before and he is not willing to go through that again. He was used and left, only to have a baby dropped on him without any remorse from the mother. Now he only wants the best for his daughter, and he does not want her to turnout anything like her mother and he is afraid that her growing up and getting girly will turn her into that.

India and her friends have come up with ideas to help make money to pay for the treatment of a little girl with cancer in their town. As they are brainstorming, India comes up with the idea of a rodeo, but no one wants to take charge of it and leaves it all up to her. India has no idea what is involved Plus she has no desire to get involved with a cowboy no matter what. Even if the man in charge of bringing the rodeo is a man that makes her want what she didn’t think she could ever want.

India and Liam have been burned before and now they are afraid of taking any chances. Liam with his hate of sophisticated women who think they are above others and India by her childhood and upbringing. Both Indian and Liam must find forgiveness and let go of the pain in the past if they want to be able to build something for the future.
