His Lost-and-Found Bride by Scarlet Wilson: Twelve years ago the world stopped His-Lost-and-Found-Brideturning. Twelve years ago it became clear that nothing would ever be the same. So twelve years ago she walked away.

Lucia Moretti hadn’t been running for twelve years. It’s not even that she hadn’t been living. After all she had an amazing job restoring amazing Italian artwork, living in Venice and continuing on with her life. That was what was supposed to happen after your life turns upside down, right?

Logan Cascini hadn’t been doing much better after twelve years. He still was living in Florence. He had a business that was flourishing. As for a life, well one might say he had one of those, but not with any real force behind it. The problem was this new job of his meant he had to call his ex and then he had to figure out what to do.

With Logan calling in Lucia’s help you would think she might have the upper edge in this crazy scenario, but Logan has too much of a hero complex for that. Can the two of them work through their past and help settle their future? Or will the one painting that pulled them together again push them farther apart?

This is Ms. Wilson’s foray into the village of Monte Calanetti, which can be read as a stand alone. This was a bit of a shift for the reader though as the male lead has a definite hero complex and most of the plot revolves around him trying to “fix” the female lead. It is a quick moving story though and does give some amazing descriptions of paintings and scenes in Italy, enough to make you want to jump on a plane to go visit. Over the story is fast paced and though delves into some emotional scenes it doesn’t dig too deeply into anything.
