His to Claim by Shelly Bell: Ryder walked out on everything his father built to create his own dynasty, one that isn’t tainted by illegal activities. He’s super smart, dedicated, loyal, and oh so sexy. He’s also very determined to be his own man. After his childhood, he never planned to fall in love, get married, or have kids. He’s committed to forever being a bachelor, but one night with Jane and he can’t stop thinking about her…for a few reasons.

Jane never had anyone to really call her own. She was shuttled off to the side and hidden away from a mother who seemingly has no desire to have a relationship with her. She’s smart, generous, and desires to have the family she’s never known. She threw herself into her studies and then work but never a relationship.

Ryder is surprised to finally come face-to-face with Jane again in the last place he expected. Their chemistry and instant response a year later is surprising, but not entirely unwelcome. They had an amazing one night, until Jane ran. It’s easy to pick back up where they left off, but a lot has changed for both of them.

“I’m flattered to be the exception, but I would hate for you to go against your values.” His lips hovered over hers. “I guess that means we’re dating.”
Liquid heat pooled in her belly. She could barely catch her breath as she anticipated his next move. “Yeah?”
“Consider this our third date.”

They didn’t know each other very well, but Ryder has his own doubts about Jane and her role in the family business since key technology was stolen from him the night they met. They get to know each other and quickly grow closer, despite the danger surrounding Ryder’s technology. Finding herself in the middle of a family conflict is only the beginning as she begins to question her boss, her family, and her growing feelings for Ryder.

She rolled her eyes. “I was talking to myself. You’d just pointed out that my shirt was misbuttoned.”
“We’ll have to agree to disagree.”
She giggled. Giggled. “You’re incorrigible.”

His to Claim has plenty of suspense, family drama, mistrust, and heat. Shelly Bell skillfully crafted the suspense side of the story with plenty of surprises along the way. Ms. Bell created a dynamic cast with friends, foes, and family. His to Claim can be read as a standalone in this series. Fans of Lisa Renee Jones and Lexi Blake will enjoy His to Claim.

Fate brought them together. Family could tear them apart.

Ryder McKay may be a playboy, but he’s never been a fool. Not until he met the woman he simply knew as Jane. For one night, he dropped his guard, but in the morning she disappeared—along with a copy of his top secret technology.

When it ends up in the hands of his biggest enemy—his father—Ryder knows without a doubt he’s been betrayed. And when he finds Jane again, a year later, he can’t decide what’s worse—that her mother is marrying his brother, or that he still finds Jane irresistible, despite the fact that she’s a liar, a thief, and his father’s latest protégé.

Jane Cooper does have a secret, but it’s not the one Ryder thinks. As their rekindled passion changes into something deeper, they’ll have to work together to untangle a web of lies and corruption that will shatter everything they thought they knew about their pasts. Because Jane’s not the only one with a secret—and this secret is getting people killed.
