Love Online by Penelope Ward: Ryder theoretically has it all. He’s handsome, sexy, wealthy, and is being groomed to take over the family business. He has his pick of women, attends parties with the who’s who of Hollywood, and has a housekeeper who is like a mother to him and keeps him in line. But he’s tired of his life and is sick of people using him for his connections and what he can do for them. Little does he know how one night of online searching could change his life….

Eden is sexy, confident, and has a great voice. She never envisioned how her life would turn out, but she’s committed to doing what she needs to. Her job is unusual, but she has a lively and funny persona that draws others in. She’s not really looking for a relationship between her circumstances and past experiences with men.

Ryder is surprised to find someone online that he connects with. While he doesn’t know Eden’s real name, he enjoys logging in each night and their interactions draw them ever closer. Both have their reasons for hiding their names and not revealing a lot of personal details initially, but there is an attraction developing despite the distance.

“Yeah. I’m sure, if you’re okay with hanging out some more.”
“Honestly? Yeah. I’m really enjoying talking to you. It’s different for some reason. It feels like we’re just talking. It’s not forced.”

Before long, they begin to drop some of the barriers that kept them a little more removed. Both come to rely and depend on their nightly chats as something that helps them get through the day. Meeting in person changes everything and their chemistry is magnified by crossing that line. Their lives are very different, but they also give each other something they didn’t know they needed.

“There’s wireless here. Plus, I get to look at you. I don’t get bored looking at you. Just the opposite-quite excited, actually.”
Feeling my cheeks heating up, I shook my head. “What am I gonna do with you?”
He smirked. “Again, so many ways I could answer that question.”

Love Online is surprising, sexy, and oh so hot! Penelope Ward builds the anticipation while developing the characters and relationships. Ms. Ward provided an entertaining cast of characters with Ollie and Lorena fabulous additions. Fans of Jasmine Guillory, Helen Hoang, and Vi Keeland will enjoy Love Online.

From New York Times bestselling author Penelope Ward, comes a new, sexy standalone novel.

We met in the least likely of places. It started out innocently enough. I was “ScreenGod” and she was “Montana,” but of course, those weren’t our actual names, just the virtual cloaks we hid behind.

Logging in at night and talking to her was my escape—my sanctuary.

Her real name was Eden, I’d soon come to find out.

From the first time we connected online, I found myself transfixed.

She was an addiction.

At first, we knew nothing about each other’s real identities…and she was adamant that we keep things that way. Anonymity had no effect on our unstoppable chemistry, though. If anything, it allowed us to open up even more in ways we may not have otherwise.

Eden was funny, intelligent, gorgeous—everything I’d ever wanted in a woman.

But I couldn’t really have her.

I had accepted things would have to stay the way they were—until the day I found a clue that led me straight to her.

So I took a chance.

And that was when our love story really began.
