In Matched to a Billionaire (Happily Ever After, Inc. #1) by Kat Cantrell, Venture capitalist Leo Reynolds needs a wife. Someone to run his home, host his parties…and accept a marriage that’s strictly business. He meets Danielle through a matchmaker and she fulfills all his perfect wife criteria but will the strong attraction he 20523720feels towards her make him break his own rules.

Marriage for Daniella White means security and she is willing to give up passion for friendship. But the moment they meet, sparks fly. And now temptation–and Leo’s own heart–have the billionaire ready to change all the rules.

Matched to a Billionaire by Kat Cantrell is a well written romance with a marriage of convenience (MOC) trope. The story gives equal focus to both the hero and heroine’s perspective. Danielle needs security and therefore decides to marry Leo for the same. She had always dreamed of a perfect wedding with her prince charming but due to her mother’s sick health, she agrees to a MOC. Leo is a flawed character with a borderline obsessive personality which he tries to veil. Both the characters failed to impress me because off their conflicting personalities. Dannie appears to be a little desperate to win over her husband’s love and Leo’s obsessive personality combined with his beliefs left me irritated with both of them. The story is well written and enjoyable to read. The romance and the steam factor is also bang on but the characters did not impress me enough personally.

Overall, Matched to a Billionaire by Kat Cantrell is for everyone who loves marriage of convenience romance with an enjoyable storyline
