In Misbehaving by Tiffany Reisz, While Beatriz is looking forward to her sister Claudia’s wedding, she didn’t expect to her job to interfere with the festivities. Bea writes reviews on sex books and toys for a sex education blog under the name of Miss Bea Haven. She realizes too late that the book she has to review is a manual designed for partners. So the search is on for Bea to find a willing guy to help her try out the book over the next several days.

‘She’d only planned for him to spend the week inside her body. Somehow he’d gotten inside her heart, as well.’

MISIt turns out Bea is in luck. Sort of. Claudia talks her into getting Ben, the object of her college desires, to help out. But the way they left things five years ago was not on a positive note. Despite that fact, their mutual attraction is still smoldering hot, and they easily fall into a physical relationship. As the days wear on, however, Bea starts to recognize those old feelings coming back again. But she’s reticent to approach the subject with Ben, worried that they may ruin the fabulous sex they’re having by discussing a potential future together.

She handed him a note written on a paper napkin and left the restaurant. He opened the note.
Come f*%k me, it read. Chapter four is waiting for us.
Far be it from him to disobey the direct order of a napkin.
“Gotta go, guys,” he said. “Duty calls.”

Ben wasn’t aware he would run into the only woman he’s never gotten over when he agreed to be in his best friend Henry’s wedding party. Beatriz is more beautiful than ever and has a proposition for him: she needs a partner to help her try out the positions in a sex manual she’s reviewing. Say no more…he’s more than willing. Ben has been dreaming of being with Bea for the past five years and now that it’s finally coming true, his only complaint is that they only have a week together. Is it enough time to finally get her out of his system? Or will it only convince him he won’t ever want to leave her again?

How was he supposed to get over Beatriz if Beatriz was under him?
“To do Bea…or not to do Bea…?” Ben asked himself.

Misbehaving is a raucously entertaining erotic novella that had me laughing the whole time I was reading it. I was also fanning my face from all the explicit sex talk and scenes, which were incredibly H-O-T!!

I had a lot of fun getting to know Beatriz & Ben, Claudia & Henry, and the other characters involved. (Keaton the bellhop was hysterical) The dialogue was so comical and witty that I thought it was reminiscent of Sex and the City. No subject was off-limits and everything was discussed with candor. This made for a very enjoyable story that was honestly over a bit too quickly…I’d love to find out what happens to everyone after the wedding was over.

I loved Tiffany Reisz’s writing style. It’s smart and is full of well thought out characters, who are actually loosely based around Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. The only issue I had was with Bea talking Ben through what they’d be doing as she reviewed the book. It made things seem a little clinical which kind of put a damper on it for me at first. The idea of having to stop in the middle of the, uh, act and take notes on her phone seemed like it might ruin the mood…at least to me. But they seemed to have fun with it, so kudos to them!

Take time this Valentine’s Day (or anytime) to check out this Cosmo Red Hot Reads novella. Especially if you like spicy love scenes! I think you’ll really enjoy it.

Wanted: Adventurous, open-minded man willing to try anything…

As a popular sex blogger, Beatriz gets paid to have orgasms. So being on deadline the week of her sister’s wedding isn’t as rough as it sounds. There’s just one hitch: Bea’s assignment is to write a review of a sex position manual, but she doesn’t have a plus one to play with.

The good news: Ben, the one who got away back in college, is also attending stag–and he’s as temptingly gorgeous as ever.

The bad news: Ben turned down Bea’s offer of graduation night sex five years ago.

The best news: He’s not planning on making the same mistake twice.

A red-hot retelling of Much Ado About Nothing for people who love Shakespeare but thought his plays could use a few more sex scenes.
