Nacho Figueras Presents: Wild One by Jessica Whitman is book two in the Polo Season Wild-OneSeries and just like the first book, readers will lose themselves as romance and Polo come together in an exceedingly pleasurable read.

Sebastian Del Campo is not like his older brother, Alejandro. Where Alejandro is responsible and serious, Sebastian is more of a playboy. He drinks, parties, and has way too many women in his life. When Sebastian gets into a bar fight and can no longer play polo due to his wrist, he has some time to figure out where his priorities lie.

Katherine Parker is in a rut. She directed one bad movie and now she can’t get anyone to give her a chance. When her father has a stroke she rushes home to Wellington to help her parents out. The best way to help out is to take over her mom’s position as housekeeper for the Del Campo residence. Kat used to clean for her mom all the time before she left for college, so it should be easy. The only problem is Sebastian is the best looking man Kat’s ever seen and their attraction to one another is rapid. It doesn’t take long for them to jump into bed with each other but there’s more to their relationship than just sex.

Kat knows she needs to avoid Sebastian because he’s a playboy, but there’s a pull between them. Sebastian feels the same pull and realizes she’s not like the other women who chase him.

“When he finally removed his hand so he could open the door for her, he was surprised to feel a sharp pang of deprivation, as if he’d lost something he did not want to be without.”

Sebastian turns on the charm by relaying thrilling stories of his family and about polo. When he talks about his grandma, Kat latches on to the information and gets a great idea to make a movie about her. She goes on to write the script, but they don’t see eye to eye on Sebastian’s role in the whole thing. Drama ensues as we watch destiny play out in front of our eyes.

I loved Sebastian and Kat together. You could really feel the emotions flowing between the two of them. As I was reading, I felt like their hearts were intertwined and they were meant for each other. The sex between them is hot and sensual. The passion between them never stops surging, even when misunderstandings tear them apart. Sebastian is a better man when he’s with Kat. With her, he finds his place in life.

The book is well-detailed, easy to follow, and has enough romance to make my heart sigh happily. I loved everything about this book, from the romance to the strong family ties. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

Kat Parker thought she’d finally escaped being known as the housekeeper’s daughter in the class-obsessed polo town of Wellington, FL. With her first blockbuster screenplay, she’d become the Hollywood It girl-until with one flop suddenly she wasn’t. Heading home is her only option.

Kat knows she can write another hit…if only she can find the right story. What she finds instead is the drop-dead gorgeous celebrity athlete Sebastian Del Campo, who’s just as well known for his tabloid exploits as he is for his prowess on the polo field.

For Sebastian, everything in life has always come easily-wealth, sports, women. But the perennial party life is starting to feel a bit stale. Especially after meeting Kat. Her easy laughter and candid attitude make him aspire to something more meaningful for the first time in his life.

As Sebastian tells Kat stories of his grandmother Victoria, a woman who could be dripping in diamonds one moment and tearing up the polo field the next, Kat’s inspiration fires and soon the pair are back in Hollywood, working on a film together that could make or break both of their careers. And though the chemistry between the two is building, the film’s irresistible star has other ideas…
