Naked-PursuitNaked Pursuit by Jill Monroe: This isn’t about one couple, it’s about 4 people who are trying to figure out what they are doing with their lives, who come together in a weird sort of circumstances that just need some time to figure it all out. Both of the couples need to work some pretty major things out but they both jump in and jump on each other quickly while they are figuring things out. Through much soul searching both couples must figure out if they are going to continue on status quo or if they will be making a new future with each other.

Ms. Monroe has given her readers basically two novellas that are intertwined with one another. Both are hot and heavy romances so if you don’t enjoy steam, don’t pick this one up. My main issue with this novel is almost that it’s too much too quickly in too short a space. I loved both story lines and I would have loved to read full-length novels on both stories. I will say this though Ms. Monroe knows how to write a steamy enough novel to fog my glasses through the pages. Oh and LOVE how her cover matches the story.

Handcuffs. A sexy stranger.

What did she do last night?

Med student Stella Holbrook just had the best night of her life meeting a hot, hunky firefighter, making out with him at the roller rink and then engaging in a whole lot of deliciously wicked behavior in a swank hotel room. Only, when she wakes up the next morning, she can’t remember a thing…

Owen Perkins has no idea how he ended up naked in a bathtub with Stella. All he knows is that while their minds are blank, their bodies definitely remember what happened. All they have to go on are cryptic notes they left for themselves. Piece by piece, they’ll uncover the truth about last night…one exquisitely sexy moment at a time!

The actual book description sounds so different than your review. I probably would’ve been like “what am I reading?” if I hadn’t seen this.
