In Nothing Between Us (Loving on the Edge #6) by Roni Loren, Writer Georgia Delaune has been alone in her self-Nothing-Between-Usimposed prison of a house for about a year. Anxiety currently has her at its mercy, but if she had the courage, she would take her hunky neighbor Colby Wilkes up on his flirty offers. Instead, Georgia watches him through her guest bedroom window, wishing she was the one in his bedroom, under his total control. Slowly but surely Colby shows her that he can be trusted and helps Georgia begin to take her life back, one step at a time. Their attraction runs rampant right away. Then a friend of Colby’s enters their lives and things become much more complex. Georgia is interested in both men, and they’re interested in her as well. Could something so outrageous as the three of them together possibly work?

‘All these months she’d been sitting in the dark, watching the erotic tableaus of Colby Wilkes through that window, wondering what it must feel like to be so free, how heady it must feel to be the center of that man’s attention. Tonight, she’d finally find out. Tonight she’d be his.’

School counsellor Colby Wilkes is all about control. As a Dominant who works weekends at The Ranch, a BDSM club, he maintains a calm, focused outward appearance. On the inside, though, he’s searching for a relationship that gives his life meaning. Something to give him stability. Colby thinks Georgia might be the person who can fill that need. Just when they’re beginning to give in to their chemistry, Adam Keats walks back into his life, throwing everything upside down. None of them can deny the sparks of attraction when the three of them are in a room together. And Colby knows with patience and honesty, a triad relationship could work. But will Georgia, Colby, and Keats have the strength to work through all of their individual issues and achieve the happiness that’s within reach?

“You know neither one of you is hard to look at.”
“Is that right? Neither one of us, huh?” He grinned and pointed the neck of is beer toward her. “Does this mean I need to challenge Keats to a duel for your primary affections?”
She sniffed. “Only if you plan on taking your shirts off and doing hand-to-hand combat. Possibly while the sprinklers are running.”

Nothing Between Us is an erotic novel that is so hot, you’ll need a tall frosty beverage to calm you down after reading it. Or a cold shower. Either way, you’ll definitely be fired up after meeting Colby, Georgia, and Keats and getting all the naughty details of their sexy escapades.

‘His heated gaze collided with hers through the binoculars–a dead-on eye lock that reached inside Georgia and flipped her inside out. He knows.’

I will start off by saying that if you are not a fan of BDSM or M/M, M/F/M scenes, this might be a tad too much for you. However, if you don’t mind such elements in a book, then holy mother of God are you in for a kinky, sensual time. Roni Loren has written what should be a sordid tale of three people who are attracted to each other and decide to give a triad relationship a whirl. But the way that this was detailed, with a vast array of emotions shown by these three intriguing characters, the story was actually focused on the bond that formed between them. I was impressed with how clearly that came across in the dialogue and the internal thoughts Keats, Colby, and Georgia had. There was no mistaking that there was absolute trust, affection, and loyalty amongst them at all times.

I also liked that they were an interesting mix of characters that you normally wouldn’t think of together. A writer with an anxiety issue, a counsellor who happens to also be a Dom, and a musician who is basically homeless. But you know what? It worked quite well. And with such varied life experiences in the mix with these three, they all brought something different to their relationship. That’s what made it seem more realistic to me. They were all struggling to find their place in life, but when they were together they felt comfortable in each other’s presence. The personalities didn’t really clash. Instead, their unique personality quirks meshed well and rounded out the dynamics of their relationship. Okay, I won’t lie, though. The love scenes, I’m sure, are what most people will be talking about after reading this. Talk about intense and carnal. *whew* It could have been a complicated mess, but everything seemed to fall in place for them when they let their passion out. And let it out, they did…

Fans of erotic romance will be sure to enjoy this seductive story about three people who find their place together in each other’s arms. Whether you have read the rest of the Loving on the Edge series or not, feel free to jump in with Colby, Keats, and Georgia’s romance.

From the New York Times bestselling author of Need You Tonight comes a steamy Loving on the Edge novel that proves watching is only half the fun…

Unlike the heroine of her popular thriller series, Georgia Delaune can’t afford to take risks or push sexual boundaries—unless you count spying through her neighbor’s bedroom window, and never missing a single move he makes.

Colby Wilkes is more than willing to put on a show for the alluring woman next door. But his dominant side aches to show her the pleasures of submission up close. As a counselor, Colby is sensitive to Georgia’s fears. As a Dom at The Ranch, a private BDSM retreat, he’s the perfect teacher to unleash her passion.

But just as Georgia lowers her emotional barriers, an unexpected complication arrives: a bad boy musician from Colby’s past who adds fuel to her heated imagination. Now, the lonely author has two gorgeous men eager to fulfill every fantasy she’s ever written—and one she’s never dared to dream…

Yeah, it’s definitely explicit. But like I said, it’s very well written and it didn’t seem tawdry or gratuitous. There was a definite storyline here.
