Once Upon a Valentine by Alison Leigh: After watching nothing but disasters in her biological parents love lives her entire life, Shea isn’t sure she will ever believe in real love. After her “crumb” of a fiancé splits she is sure love does not exist. Shea believes the only person in her life that she can trust to stick around and to be truthful is herself.

Daring to Trust the BossPaxton is an older, wiser, playboy who took one look at Shea and knew she was his forever. His reputation, however, preceded him. He was everything she thought she couldn’t trust.

One amazing night later everything had changed and not in a way either of them could have predicted. Will they both be able to work through their pasts and live for their future? Or will they forever be stuck in their past?

This is a great installment The Hunt for Cinderella Series. It continues the “Fairy godmother” theme really well with Cornelia stepping up to the plate yet again to help Shea believe not just in her dreams, but in herself.  Allison Leigh’s style has shown through again and allows the readers to believe in something real and helps to transport readers for even just a little while into another world. I love the feeling after reading her works that happily ever after can happen.

Once Upon a Valentine has everything from playboys, good girls, love, romance and of course a woman keeping a man on his toes. Fall in love with Paxton as he attempts of overcome Shea’s past and love her as she deserves.

Paxton Merrick made millions crafting custom yachts for Seattle’s überwealthy. But now, with Shea, his very own ship has come in.
