In Professor Feelgood (Masters of Love #2) by Leisa Rayven, From the moment she read his angsty poetry online, book editor Asha Tate knew so-called Professor Feelgood was a truly talented writer. And after exhausting all of her options to come up with a manuscript that would not only secure a promotion but also save the struggling publishing company she works for, Asha reaches out to the handsome Professor to offer him a deal. She should have been careful what she wished for, though. Because yes, he’s as gifted a writer as she hoped, and has a sinful voice and physique that haunts her dreams. But she’s not sure Feelgood is a dreamy guy, mooning over the loss of his true love as he portrays. Instead, he seems to be an arrogant man who does nothing but push her buttons, creating tension between them from the start.

“You write from your heart, and people respect that. Hell, even I respect that.”
He turns to me. “You love my writing, huh? That sounded almost sincere.”
“It was. You may be a jackass, but you’re a talented jackass.”

Asha has to admit to herself that working with Professor Feelgood is going to be a challenge like no other. Between the unbelievable response his online legions have to early news of a book created from his heartbreak-fueled poetry, and the growing confusing chemistry between them, she has to stay focused. This is make-or-break for both of their careers. But when Asha’s personal and professional lives collide, leaving her with very few options for a positive outcome, will Professor Feelgood be able to hold up his end of the bargain? And will they be able to get past their issues to forge a real relationship that can survive what life throws their way?

‘There’s a saying that love is just friendship on fire, and it couldn’t be more true.’

Professor Feelgood was another epic romance from Leisa Rayven that had me in stitches, left me reeling, and even had me squeeing in delight several times. In one word, it was: Everything.

“Loving someone is the easiest thing in the world. Making them love you back is the hard part.”

I’m going to try not to go all fangirl on you…but I am completely in love with Professor Feelgood. Everything about it worked for me. The characters were awesome, the storyline had enough twists and surprises here and there to keep me on edge, and the romance? Utterly sigh-worthy and so passionate it will make you melt. I fell in love with Leisa Rayven’s writing with Bad Romeo a few years back and I’ve been hooked ever since. She uses modern dialogue that’s realistic and yet hilarious at the same time, making me want to hang out with her characters just to see what craziness will pop out of their mouths. But it’s the intense, emotionally-super-charged scenes between the hero and heroine in each of Rayven’s books that gets me every time.

There is A LOT about Asha and her relationship with Professor Feelgood that I will not get into so I don’t ruin the way Rayven pieced this story together with their surprising connection to each other. (I’m not even going to mention the hero’s real name, as that was part of the reveal when they finally met.) I will say that it was a very, very, veeeeeeery rocky start when they began working together writing his book, which was concocted out of his dreamy lyrical poetry. And I think Feelgood was quite indicative of the heroes Rayven creates. They may seem arrogant and full of themselves at first, but there is SO much more going on beneath the surface that you can’t help but fall for them. After starting off not so sure about him, I *adored* Feelgood once all the puzzle pieces started falling into place. And I thought he was an amazing match for Asha.

And Asha! Oh my goodness she was fantastic. I had so much fun with her comical inner monologues, her dry wit, and her feisty moments. If you’ve read Mister Romance, her sister Eden’s book, then you’ve already “met” Asha and got a sense of how great she is. (Although you can read these as standalones.) I really liked that she was take charge when it came to her career, but she still had some insecurities about herself that I think a lot of women will relate to in regard to body image and intimacy. Asha’s childhood was not an easy one. Neither was Professor Feelgood’s for that matter. But between her lovely sister and their outrageous grandmother, they were all able to be there for one another in every way that mattered. I loved the dynamics between them.

Professor Feelgood is a must-read for romance lovers who enjoy achingly beautiful prose filled with raw feelings that ring true. Asha and Professor Feelgood might have had a love that was destined to be–right from the start–but it was their incredible journey that I hope will both wow and resonate with readers.

What’s a girl to do when a man who’s countless shades of wrong feels oh-so-right?

Ambitious book editor Asha Tate is a hopeless romantic. Despite her mediocre track record with men, she believes in swooning, sighing, and the everlasting love of true soul mates. Sure, sex is okay, but she’s not someone who’s ever been driven by her animal urges.

Until now.

When Asha stumbles upon the scorching hot Instagram feed of someone calling himself Professor Feelgood, she falls in lust for the first time. Not only is she left panting over the professor’s insane body, but his angst-filled poetry about losing his one true love speaks straight to her soul.

Desperately in need of a bestseller for her struggling publishing company, Asha knows the professor’s potential to sell to his millions of loyal followers could be the lifeline her bosses need. However, the ink is barely dry on a book deal before she realizes she’s made a terrible mistake. Sure, the professor is incredibly talented and sexier than any man has a right to be, but the man behind the persona isn’t at all who she pictured. In real life, he’s intense, arrogant and infuriating, and his uncanny ability to rub her the wrong way turns her dream project into a total nightmare.

Knowing that the professor is everything she doesn’t want in a man should help Asha ignore her occasional urges to mount him, but she quickly learns that explosive, unwanted chemistry can make even smart people do stupid things.

Don’t miss this sexy new standalone from the international bestselling author of Bad Romeo and Broken Juliet.
