Ready to Wed by Cindi Madsen is a well written feel good sweet romance. Dakota is a strong independent heroine who is struggling with both her professional and personal lives after her fiancee jilts her. She is an adorable character who handles herself so maturely after her life starts falling apart. I was a little skeptical about the love triangle because I am not a fan of them but I am really glad that the focus of the story did not stay there for long. Brendan is the perfect match for Dakota because being her childhood friend, he understands her better than anyone else. The way they bonded after so many years was also so perfect. Their romance is moves slowly from the friendship to the lovers stage and I found that to be believable because of the circumstances around them during that time. The story is set in the backdrop of weddings and it makes it so much more enjoyable.

To sum it up, Ready to Wed is like a wedding with all the crazy fun, adorable characters and a perfect happy ending.
