Seduced in Sand (Tulle and Tulips #5) by Nikki Duncan: Tabitha Sampson is a wedding venue seducedinsandcoordinator. She is organized, she is driven, and she gives the client what they want. The one thing that she can’t seem to find is the man that will help her forget her soon to be ex husband, the man that like Peter Pan would never grow up, was never on time, was never there for her.

Danny Hampton is a reformed beach bum turned beach volleyball player. He moved from California to Miami following Tabitha. After a year apart he has grown up a lot, had realized what is important, and is determined to win his wife back at any cost.

What I loved about Danny and Tabitha is that no matter what happened in the past, whatever mistakes they made, the still loved each other. Danny knew that he made Tabitha cry when he missed their dates, made her made when he wanted to play, pretty much pushed her out the door and out of his life. Tabitha begins to realized that no man will every measure up to what she had with Danny, the laughter, the love, the hot kisses, the way that they clicked, and the fact that she has never felt safer than when Danny is holding her in his arms.

What I loved most about Danny is that he really tried. He knew that in order to win Tabitha back, he had to do more than just say the words, he had to prove himself with actions. He was patience, attentive, punctual, and loving. He let Tabitha set the pace and just kept showing her again and again and again that he would never let her down again.

Seduced in Sand by Nikki Duncan is a fast read that despite being a novella kept me glued the the pages from start to finish. This is the 5th book in the Tulle and Tulips series, and it is totally stand alone. You do not need any background to follow these characters but I have added the rest of the series to my TBR list.

The HEA was all the sweeter in this second time around love story. I recommend this read to anyone that loves a second chance at a HEA.

If Queen of Venues Tabatha Sampson wasn’t so easy to like she’d be universally hated. At Tulle and Tulips, she wins over her clients with a deft likeability, and a gift for finding them the wedding venue of their dreams.

Her polished veneer fools everyone into thinking she’s never known hardship, that everything she touches is blessed with perfection. In truth, her deepest secret is her life’s biggest failure—her husband.

A reformed beach bum turned professional volleyball player, Danny Hampton knows a thing or two about how to work a crowd. On the circuit he wins the hearts of spectators and sponsors while keeping his own safely shielded. Since stepping onto the sand he’s done nothing but win. Behind his easy smile lies the heart of his biggest loss—his wife.

Now he’s determined to show Tabatha he’s a changed man. But it’ll take more than heated kisses to keep her pen off the dotted line at the bottom of their divorce papers.

Warning: This title contains a man determined to be the hero every woman could want, and one woman needs.
