REVIEW: Seduction by Lauren Smith

SeductionSeduction by Lauren Smith is part two of a three-part serial about desiring the one person who you can’t have. The first book, Forbidden, left readers with a shocking cliffhanger, but Seduction picks up where Forbidden left off. By the way, you need to read the books in order otherwise, you will be lost.

Tristan and Kat find out they will soon be related. His mom and her dad are looking to marry, which can only complicate their relationship. They’re about to become family, a relationship between them will never work…right? They both know they need to call it quits but saying it is easier than actually doing it.

The sexual tension between the two of them is high and sometimes it’s unbearable to escape from. Kat tries to cut ties with Tristan but the heart wants want the heart wants, even if she is setting herself up for a hurting down the road.

“Every time you banish me from your bed, it destroys me…”

They are both is a tough position. For me, the emotional depth that Kat and Tristan connect on, outweighs any feelings their parents might feel for each other, but the situation is full of complications. When they realize they can’t stand away from each other, they agree to keep their relationship to themselves. Sounds like a solid plan until someone leaks their picture to the media.

I have no idea how this forbidden relationship is actually going to work in the long run with Tristan and Kat, but I’m dying to find out. Patiently waiting for part three to be released.

Book Info:

4S March 8th 2016 | Forever Yours | Her British Stepbrother #2

Tristan is a man who knows what he wants. And he wants Kat in his bed. All he has to do is convince her they belong together . . .

Kat knows the connection she and Tristan share is special. Her British bad boy is too much of everything: too hot, too arrogant, too irresistible to stay away from. He’s her addiction and one night with him isn’t enough.

That’s what hurts the most. They can’t date, can’t be a normal couple, not when their parents are getting married. Because now that she knows he’s going to be her stepbrother, no one can ever find out what they’ve done . . .

Thanks for the review. I haven’t been attracted to the recent spate of step-sibling stories, so I haven’t tried any, and I don’t like series that have cliffhangers (too impatient, lol) so at first I wasn’t considering this title, but I have to say that your review makes me leaning toward trying it AFTER the next one comes out!

I’m impatient with cliff hangers as well. I like the stories to be complete that way i’m not left wanting more. Hope you check it out will the final book releases.
