REVIEW: Sex Machine by Marie Force

Sex Machine by Marie Force: Honey has known Blake since they were sex-machinekids. She understands why he limits his relationships, but she’s also aware of his reputation. Despite her own reputation, Honey doesn’t understand what the fuss is about sex. She finally works up the courage to proposition Blake since he might be the one man who can show her just what she’s been missing.

After losing his high school girlfriend in a car accident, Blake has closed himself off to relationships. He’s instead focused on work and limited himself to one-night stands. Blake is a really good guy, but he just can’t move on. He’s shocked by Honey’s bold proposal. He’s been attracted to her for years, so he’s more than willing to cross that line from friends to lovers for one night.

The mortification returns in a hot blast as the reminder of my proposition mingles with an unexpected compliment. “Are you ever going to forget I said that?”
“Not in this lifetime-or the next.”
“Great.”

Honey got exactly what she asked for and then some. Being with Blake was an eye-opening experience, but she wishes that there could be more. Their chemistry is off the charts and he seems to understand her. It doesn’t help that Blake breaks his own rules for her and extends their one-night stand. They get closer than expected and Blake has to consider if maybe it just might be time to go for more. Honey provides him with the affection he’s been missing.

“How do you do that?”
“Do what?”
“Know exactly what I’m thinking?”
“Because your every thought and emotion shows on your face. You’d be a terrible poker player, darlin’.”

Sex Machine is hot, hot, hot! Marie Force brings the heat while providing good pacing and relationship development. Ms. Force created a great setting in Marfa with characters I would love to see in future books. Fans of Tessa Bailey and Lorelei James will enjoy Sex Machine.

A Standalone Novel

SEX MACHINE

He’s good for one thing and one thing only—and she wants it bad.

Honey Carmichael has never had a decent orgasm, and she’s out to change that with the one man in town known for his superior skill between the sheets.

Blake Dempsey is happy to help Honey with her “problem” as long as she knows he’s only interested in sex. His heart was broken when his high school girlfriend was killed in the car he was driving, and he has nothing to offer other than more orgasms than Honey can handle.

Which is just fine with her—until fantastic orgasms aren’t enough anymore for either of them and unexpected feelings turn hot sex into messy entanglement—and that most definitely wasn’t in the plans.

But you know what they say about plans…

A sexy, dirty stand-alone romance intended for MATURE audiences. If you can’t take the heat in Blake’s bedroom, stay out or you might get burned. You’ve been warned!

Great review! I have read some of the Green Mountain books & really liked them. This sounds like it has a different heat level. LOL
