Sheltered by the Millionaire by Catherine Mann: The rainbows that come after storms can come in many shapes and Shelteredsizes. When a storm has the ability to change your life, well you start to look at things just a little bit differently.

Megan Macguire is a single mother, who works hard to be the best parent she can be and let her daughter know she is loved more than the world. She is a passionate woman about her principals, her work and her daughter. When any of those things are threatened you can bet she is going to be kicking and screaming. Maybe that’s why she hasn’t dated since her ex took off. Or maybe she just wasn’t ready. Whatever the case might be it looked like there just might be a rainbow on the other side of the storm.

Whit Daltry couldn’t figure out why Megan just couldn’t stand him. Yes he may have purchased the land she was hoping for, but that was business, nothing personal. He didn’t get this far in his adult life by going down without a fight though and he was certainly willing to take one up to get to her. He didn’t get to have roots as a child and he certainly wanted them now.

When a tornado rips through the small town of Royal, everything changes. Even people who wouldn’t talk with one another before start working together and when by chance sparks fly who knows what will go up in flames. Throw in some wetlands, a stray cat, a wonderful and precious little girl not to mention two adults more stubborn than mules and you never know what you are going to get out of the mix. Will there be a new family in Royal? Or will there be a new feud?

One of the Texas Cattleman’s Club series we are transported over to Royal, Texas and to one of the most animalistic love stories. Whit is a really good guy, who doesn’t realize how much of a bully he is being. Megan is a really good woman who doesn’t realize she is as scared if not more so than her daughter. The story between these two is plausible which makes it a fun read. Ms. Mann has a way of making her characters come to life and she has certainly done that with these two. Yep I wanted to pop them both a couple of times. This is a must read for anyone who likes single mother, rich men, down to earth folks, or true nurturing and caring people.
