Snowbound with the Boss by Maureen Child: So sleeping with the boss isn’t Snowbound-with-the-Bossexactly a great move, especially when he irritates the life out of you normally. Then again when you are snowed in together there are so many things you can get away with.

Kate Wells knew what it was like to love and to lose, she didn’t want to do that ever again, so she shut down her heart. Focusing on work she was a well-respected contractor and had gained a very large contract to redo a local hotel. Everything was going well, then she insisted that the boss come take a look before they started the inside renovations, in winter.

Sean Ryan was a sun loving man. Nothing about being cold appealed to him, and as much as he liked the outdoors California was his speed. However business interests had him out in Wyoming all to get ready for the company’s new hotel. He could deal with the cold for a week though, right? He was a smooth talker and could get everything done quickly and precisely.

Kate and Sean were like oil and vinegar, both being strong and opinionated people thinking that they knew what was best no matter what. Which was okay as long as they didn’t spend too much time together. Pity someone didn’t tell the blizzard that. When the land thaws that would be the test.

Ms. Child has delivered the third punch in this great trilogy, while giving readers a book that can be read as a standalone. This novel is a bit more twisted then just sleeping with the boss and be reassured this is not like other things you’ve read before. In fact you might just not be able to put it down as it seems that to Sean and Kate nothing is as it seems. Her details are fabulous and don’t lead to unnecessary trips. This is a great work by Ms. Child and a great summation to the Celtic trilogy.
