In Tangling with the CEO: A Half Moon Bay Novel by Annie Seaton, Anastasia Delaney and Blake Buchanan, her roommate, were never able to see eye to eye back in college on how the house and rooms were kept. Until one night of passion that left them wanting more, unfortunately, Ana received a call the next morning and she had to leave college to return home and spend the last months of her mother’s life with her. Since then she has been working in her little town and now has her own home restoration business.

TWCBlake has made millions over the years with corporate takeovers. Now he must return home to take care of his boss’s latest takeover in a small town, where he will buyout the town’s hardware store, get rid of all the elderly employees and any department they don’t need and open one of their own hardware store.

When Ana learns that the hardware store, which they work for and helps them with their business, is being sold she and her friends are afraid that they will loose their jobs. If the hardware store doesn’t keep them and their department they will no longer be able to afford the restorations they do in town to help all the elderly. So with that in mind she sets up an appointment to meet with Blake and talk to him about their department.

Unfortunately, due to his secretary not taking the pertinent information, Blake believes that he will be meeting with a man from the department. To make matters worse, he has become jaded, and believes that Ana has only shown up to come after his money. But when his sister shows up soon after with an emergency and leaves all his nephews and niece with him, Blake will need all the help he can get to look after them.

Blake and Ana have many things to clear up, and until they clear the past and make the reasons for their present meeting noticeable, they will not be able to see the second chance that has been presented to them.

I honestly loved this book, I really enjoyed the interaction between Blake and Ana. They made each other see the truth in their lives that they had not seen or accepted otherwise. Plus the chemistry between them was really fun to see. Not to mention that Blake’s niece and nephews brought quite a bit of entertainment and enlightenment to the story. Annie Seaton has done it again, she has made me fall in love with her characters and her story. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

For a fun, entertaining and sweet read, don’t miss Tangling with the CEO: A Half Moon Bay Novel by Annie Seaton.

Mixing business with pleasure never felt so right.

Blake Buchanan and Anastasia Delaney were roommates in college and could never see eye to eye about anything. The only time their walls came down was during one night of passion before Ana left without a word, never expecting to cross paths with Blake again.

Years later, Blake has made his millions. He comes back to Ana’s small California town to manage a corporate takeover that will close down the home restoration business she’s poured her heart and soul into. The fiery Ana is determined to convince money-minded Blake of her business’s worth, but when a family emergency throws them together, their walls come tumbling down once again…

Problem is, Blake’s business-first position hasn’t changed. And Ana can’t fall for the man who could become her boss—it’s not only her job at stake, but her heart.
