Texas Rose Always by Katie Graykowski: Rowdy has always felt a little Texas-Rose-Alwaysout of place in his family. Growing up on one of the largest ranches in Texas with three brothers didn’t leave a lot of time to pursue the art that he is so passionate about. He seems to already be pushing the boundaries by opening up a winery. Rowdy is a very private person, to the extent that he takes one week a year just for himself and tells no one about where he went or what he did during that time.

“Oh, can we stop by my house and drop off Elvis? He’s got a date with the sofa and Animal Planet?”
Cinco flipped a U. “You do realize that he’s a dog…right?”
“Shhh. Don’t say that too loud,” Rowdy whispered. “It makes him angry.”

Justus is never happier than when she’s digging around in the dirt. She loves her job as a landscape designer and she’s thrilled to start her latest project at the Rose ranch. This project will put her closer to her goal of stability and homeownership for her and her son. She feels welcomed by the warm and generous Rose family, until Rowdy comes home.

Rowdy and Justus have had an unconventional relationship for years. They would meet for one week during a festival but have no contact outside of that week. That one week was like a slice of heaven for both as they could leave all the pressures of their lives behind.

Both are shocked to finally run into each other and on Rowdy’s family ranch. They have an intense connection, but in many ways they didn’t know each other all that well. Those weeks were a time out of time and now they have to get to know each other all over again. Rowdy has been quite guy-shy about fully committing, but circumstances have them reevaluating their priorities.

“Why don’t you get back on this thing and ride back to our house?”
His mother’s jaw dropped to the ground. Justus looked like a deer in the headlights. Lefty’s unicorn eye patch sparkled in the sunlight.
“Yep. I said our house. Don’t everyone fall over with shock.”

Texas Rose Always brings you back into the funny, heartwarming, entertaining, and memorable characters of the Texas Rose ranch with this unique romance. Katie Graykowski provided delightful and humorous interactions between the various and highly entertaining members of the Rose family. Ms. Graykowski will charm readers with a very high maintenance dog, an adorable boy who loves random facts, and witty banter. Fans of Beth Ciotta, Jessica Lemmon, and Kendra Leigh Castle will enjoy Texas Rose Always.

Justus Jacobi loves three things: her seven-year-old son, landscape design, and the man she sees only once a year. For the past ten years, they’ve spent a surreal week together, but Justus has never considered their relationship anything but a dream—especially since they’ve never exchanged their real names. But when Justus comes to the Texas Rose Ranch to work, fantasy becomes reality fast…

Houston “Rowdy” Rose is an award-winning vintner, the second son in the Texas Rose Ranch dynasty…and the keeper of a secret that, if discovered, would make him an outsider in his own family. If they knew where he went the first week of every September, it would throw into question his reputation—reserved, cautious—revealing an unbridled artistic side he’d rather keep hidden.

But that side of Rowdy is all Justus knows—until now. As they rekindle their passionate relationship in the real world, they learn what their lives look like outside of a once-a-year romance—and whether love can survive a reality check.
