REVIEW: The Bachelor’s Twins by Kathryn Springer

The Bachelor’s Twins by Kathryn Springer was a truly sweet story, starting with the unwilling reunion of two high school classmates.

Anna Leighton had returned to her hometown with her young twin daughters, widowed by the town’s favored football hero. Anna prefers to preserve her daughters’ happy memories of their father so she hides from many family and friends that her marriage was less than perfect and that her husband was not the charmer his friends and family thought he was. She is embarrassed that she once ignored Liam’s warnings in high school about her then boyfriend who she married.

Anna’s precious twins “cook up” schemes that throw Anna and Liam together, as the twins believe he would be a great new daddy. The girls find support in this endeavor from Liam’s mother and brothers.

Meanwhile, Liam is constantly trying to prevent being matched with Anna or any female, and trying to rebuild the reputation he and his brothers once had as troublemakers.

In summary, it is a beautiful story about relationships and about second chances. I definitely recommend The Bachelor’s Twins to fellow readers in need of a “feel good” love story.

Anna Leighton’s eight-year-old twin daughters think they’ve given their hardworking single mom the perfect birthday gift. But the family canoe trip with outdoorsman Liam Kane is far from relaxing. Their rocky shared past–and the secret Anna’s been keeping–means she’s given Liam a wide berth for ten years…until now. Liam may be bowled over by his former high school crush’s beauty, but these days he’s a die-hard bachelor who’s building a cabin for one. But the rugged Liam underestimates the power of an unstoppable force: two little girls who want a daddy.
