The Billion Dollar Bad Boy by Jackie Ashenden: Victoria de Winter has been trying to prove herself to her “father” since her mother passed away when she was a child. Being a girl, and adopted at that, in a man’s world wasn’t all it was cracked up to be after all. Yet Victoria has a plan, to get back the piece of land her father has always wanted and 18464825prove to him she is worthy to be his daughter. Only one problem and he is tall, dark and sexy as sin, he is Donovan Morrow.

Donovan Morrow hasn’t ever felt like he fit into his family. The middle child he was always working to get his father’s approval, only he never got it. After some time away he is back at the family company, that his older brother is now running and working for him. When he sees Victoria will he be able to put his hurts aside? Will he be able to stop being Mr. Playboy?

This is the second installment in the Billionaire’s Club and it seems like Ms. Ashenden is getting hotter and hotter. Which yes leaves me wondering for the third and final installment and whether it’s going to scorch my kindle.

While the story is well written and the characters well developed I admit to wishing the story was longer in parts to help the reader to understand the motivations and yes in some parts make the story more romantic. However Victoria and Van make a great couple and really set the page aflame in places. It will be interesting to see how the last of the Morrow’s fit in and hopefully how Van and Victoria continue.

Donovan Morrow, the charming, loveable, sexy face of the Morrow company, can’t seem to get a break. Despite all the wining and dining he does for his partners—both in business and in bed—he feels underappreciated. Always coming in second to big brother Jax, he’s considered the playboy of the family, and not someone to be taken seriously. Even more frustrating is when Victoria de Winter, the sexy, sultry manager of the Morrow’s company biggest rival, won’t give him the time of day or night. If only Donovan could show her how his darkest desires revolve around her, she wouldn’t keep blowing him off…

Victoria has always been a good girl. Working hard for the family business and engaged to a respectable man her parents approve of, Victoria thought she had her whole life figured out. That is, until Donovan Morrow entered her life. Victoria knows she shouldn’t lust after him—a direct competitor of her family and a notorious playboy, Donovan is all wrong for the stable life she has carved out for herself. But if this hot billionaire keeps pursuing her, Victoria can only resist for so long before she has to explore his darker, wilder side…
