The-Nurses-Newborn-Gift-Nurses-to-BridesIn The Nurse’s Newborn Gift by Wendy S. Marcus, Nurse Krissy Peniglatt promised her best friend she’d have his baby through IVF if he didn’t make it home from the front lines. When the time comes to make good on her promise she’s confident she can handle being a single mom. If only Spencer Penn, the baby’s godfather, will agree!

There’s always been tension between them, and yet the warmhearted woman Krissy has become takes Spencer’s breath away. But can he convince Krissy he wants to be a real daddy for her newborn baby?

A fitting end to the Nurses to Brides duet, this one tells the story of the second sister and can be easily read as a standalone.I loved the unique plotline of this one and the way the romance progresses between Spencer and Krissy. Their hate to love romance had so many interesting sparks, right from the start! I loved their interactions, all the fights they had for a common goal and the delicious tension between them. Krissy is a determined, strong and emotional heroine who does not give in easily to Spencer’s various demands. When her character was introduced in the first part of this duet, she did not leave such a good impact on me but she won me early on in this one due to her determination and sacrifice.Spencer is a sexy alpha hero who does not agree with Krissy on literally anything. His character takes time to like but grows on you as the story progresses. Overall,an enjoyable romance with lots of banters and two stubborn characters who finally find their happily ever afters with a little help!
