The-One-for-MeThe One for Me by Sydney Landon: Crystal fell in lust at first sight with Mark and may have taken to stalking him at work ever since. She’s been content to admire him from afar and avoid actually conversing with him. So, Mark is the very last person she wants to run into while she’s feeling sick and leaving work early. Mark is the sexy CEO who is known for his playboy ways. He doesn’t do relationships, but he finds himself in the position of caring for Crystal over the weekend while she’s sick.

Mark grinned. “Are we going to have the dream-Mark chat again? That was one of the most entertaining moments of the weekend, Angel. Well, along with your confessions of stalking me.”
“Oh, my God,” she moaned. “This can’t be happening.”

Crystal finds herself easily flustered and saying whatever is on her mind, which leads to many embarrassing moments for her. Mark is drawn to her innocence and lack of guile. He’s also cautious since she’s so different from the women in his past and they have a lot of friends in common.

With the encouragement of friends, Crystal goes after what she wants and she gets her man. Mark finds that he enjoys a relationship with Crystal. Things begin to get more interesting when their respective families and Crystal’s ex-husband enter the picture.

Giving her a devilish grin, Mark said, “Just call me big…Mr. Big.”
“Oh, brother.” She giggled, loving the silly side of him. Going up on her tiptoes, she murmured for him alone, “How about later, you show me if you can live up to that name.”

The One for Me is humorous, fun, and sexy. Sydney Landon provided entertaining banter and great chemistry between Mark and Crystal. Ms. Landon creates a delightful cast complete with meddling friends and family. The One for Me can be read as a standalone. Fans of Jill Shalvis, Kristan Higgins, and Jennifer Probst will enjoy The One for Me.
