In The Uncompromising Italian by Cathy Williams, Alessio needs the very best to stop a threat to expose his greatest secret and Lesley Fox is the right person to help him with this task. She challenges him and stands up against his unyielding nature and yet he is 22852316very attracted to her.

Tomboy Lesley is shocked at Alessio’s extravagant and lavish lifestyle. She may try to dislike him, but she can’t stop the way her pulse races or how her body curves toward him when he’s near…but to give in to this need would be dangerous.

The Uncompromising Italian by Cathy Williams had an interesting premise. However, it failed to work for me and turned out to be an ok read overall.

Lesley is a part time hacker who is very good at what she does and therefore is called by Alessio to do a job for him. She has a complete tomboyish attitude inside out and is unlike any woman Alessio has ever met but he is still attracted to her. Alessio is an Italian alpha hero with a troubled teenage daughter, Rachel. I did not feel any chemistry between the characters and they were better suited as friends then lovers. The whole mystery regarding the mysterious threat was still enjoyable and one of the salvaging part of the story. The romance was lost somewhere in Alessio’s whole family drama. It had sophistication and glamour but passion and seduction was very much missing.

Overall, The Uncompromising Italian by Cathy Williams is not one of my favorite presents and although it is well written with few interesting chapters, it failed to hold my interest overall.

The Italian you can’t say “no” to

To stop a threat to expose his greatest secret, billionaire Alessio Baldini needs the very best. Lesley Fox’s name is on everyone’s lips, and he soon sees why—as challenging as she is alluring, she stands firm against his unyielding nature.

Thrown into Alessio’s lavish world, tomboy Lesley is shocked by his extravagant excess. She may try to dislike him, but she can’t stop the way her pulse races or how her body curves toward him when he’s near…but to give in to this need would be dangerous.

And danger always has consequences.
