In The Woman Sent to Tame Him by Victoria Parker, Serena Scott has been sent to reform Finn St. George from his wicked and reckless ways which have been affecting his performance on the F1 circuit. She has no desire to come face to face with the man she abhors the most but she is left with no choice when her father and team owner, Michael Scott threatens her to cancel the launch of her newly designed car. So,she sets off to complete the task enforced on her at any cost.

TWSTTHFinn has a rough past and which has become more darker after some recent events. He seeks solace in his playboy lifestyle: after all, immersing oneself in beautiful women is much more pleasurable than raking over the bitter truths of the past. He is sure that after some persuasion, Serena would soon give up any idea of “reforming” him.

Can Serena tame this bad boy, or will she become entangled in the sensual power of his hedonistic temptation?

Her heart flapping like a bird’s wings against a cage, she said, ‘I’m not going anywhere, Finn. I promise you that.’
Gazes locked, they engaged in some sort of battle of wills—one she had no intention of losing. She was here to stay.
‘Unfortunately, Miss Scott, I have a date this evening. With my good friend Black Jack. Unless you’d care to join us…?’
‘The Casino? I wouldn’t be seen dead there.’
And the smirk on his face told her he knew it!
‘Then I guess you’ll just have to catch me some other time, beautiful.’

Serena is a confident heroine who stands up to Finn whenever necessary. She is strong but also has a vulnerable side to her and I loved how these two sides were perfectly balanced. Finn is a slightly dark but vulnerable hero who hides his true self in charming playboy persona.

I also enjoyed the witty banters between the him and Serena. They were as enjoyable as the scorching hot chemistry between them. There was never a dull moment for me because there was always something to keep me hooked.

Selfish as always, he wanted—no, needed one more taste.
‘I warned you, baby. You should’ve left when you had the chance.’
Desperate to savour as much of her as he could, he dived into the heavy fall of her hair and closed the gap until they were nose-tip to nose-tip.
‘This is crazy, but—do you feel this?’ he asked, unable to hide the awe in his voice.
Fighting to keep her eyes open, she shook her head, rubbing his nose with her own. ‘No…’ she breathed on a hot little pant.
‘Good. Me neither.’

The Woman Sent to Tame Him by Victoria Parker is undoubtedly the best Harlequin presents I have read in a while. It has everything you expect–exotic locations, witty conversations, a dark brooding hero, a strong heroine, a riveting plotline and scorching hot chemistry.

Overall, The Woman Sent to Tame Him by Victoria Parker is a well written and passion filled romance which is not to be missed. A definite winner!

This one sounds like a MUST buy for me especially since the review says “passion filled”. Rarely do I see the word passion in the review of a romance book.
