The Wrong Man by Natasha Anders: Lia is sweet, warm, generous, and just wants to find the happiness and love her sisters have. She escaped an engagement only to find that there are few good single men left in her town. When she’s not filling in as a teacher, she volunteers at many places around town.

Sam Brand runs a personal security company where he rarely does the work of his bodyguards, or close protection officers (CPOs), anymore. He’s sexy, handsome, commanding, and determined to never be tied down with marriage and kids.

Sam regrets caving to a clients’ demands to stepping in as her CPO. He was lucky to escape with his many injuries due to her stalker. He’s a man of control and action, so forced rest and time off are not welcome news. Getting away from everyone is necessary, even if it means temporarily moving to the same city where Lia lives. They met previously and had an unforgettable fling, even a year later.

“You have guidelines? How do you have guidelines? Where would you even find them?”
“On the internet.” He gaped at her.
“Seriously?”
“Yes.”
“You found actual guidelines?” He couldn’t seem to wrap his head around that idea.

Sam is delighted to run into Lia again and offers her the job as his caretaker. They still have the same effect on each other and embark on a sexy fling. Lia sets clear rules to keep Sam in line and to protect her herself from his playboy reputation. Sam challenges her to step outside her comfort zone and Lia opens up his world to new people, places, and options.

“Y-you’re, um…you’re quite welcome.” His smile widened into a grin.
“Lia?”
“Yes?”
“I can practically hear you blushing.” His observation startled an exasperated laugh out of her.

The Wrong Man is delightfully with plenty of ups and downs. Natasha Anders created a believable opposites-attract couple with entertaining banter. Ms. Anders provided a great cast of characters in friends, family, retirees, and pets. Fans of Cindy Kirk and Jamie Beck will enjoy The Wrong Man.

No commitments. No expectations. No way this could possibly go wrong…right?

Former special-ops soldier Sam Brand is used to getting what he wants. What he wants is to unbutton the buttoned-down, sweet, and shy Dahlia McGregor. He’s hot to find her wild side. She’s eager to let him explore it. So he makes his proposition—no strings, no hurt feelings, and no promises—save for one: she’ll have the time of her life.

After a broken engagement, Lia’s looking to someday find the right man and settle down. That’s some day. Now it’s all about the night. A hot, meaningless fling with a magnificently weathered blue-eyed stud like Sam couldn’t hurt: he’s sexy, and sure he’s arrogant, but best of all, he’s here. In other words, he’s perfect…for now.

But when Sam is wounded in the line of duty and left in Lia’s tender loving care, all bets are off. Because the more time they spend together, the more it becomes clear: this “one night” deal is getting steamier and lasting longer than they counted on. It started as a fun little game. Is it possible they could be playing for keeps?
