Wanderlust by Roni Loren: Aubrey loves her job as a restaurant critic and she’s working Wanderlusttowards a promotion. That opportunity just might come along a little sooner depending on how well she does while filling in for their music reporter. Aubrey used to love music and attend concerts all the time, but after losing her sister she’s tried to live a quieter, less rebellious life. Aubrey is smart, persistent, and struggling to be happy since the accident.

Lex loves music and the band. Wanderlust put out a very successful first album and now the band is struggling to write a second album that will be just as successful. Between the pressure from the label and management and the strain amongst the band members, the last thing Lex needs is a reporter around to see them falling apart.

They have an interesting first meeting when Lex pulls Aubrey up on the stage during their performance. Lex isn’t at all surprised to see her backstage after the concert, but is pretty shocked when he learns exactly who she is. Lex never has a problem with women but he has been bored with all the groupies of late. Aubrey is different and he’s willing to use their attraction to kill the story.

“And I know where you live because I jumped in a cab and followed you last night to make sure you get home okay.”
“How chivalrous-and stalker like-of you.”
He set his sunglasses on top of his head. “That’s me. Like you said, I try to make my mother proud.”

Aubrey doesn’t want to be attracted to the sexy lead singer, as he brings out the side of her that she buried after the accident. As they spend more time together, they get to know each other and find that they can’t fight the attraction. The sparks fly as they challenge each other.

“Audubon Zoo is beautiful, first of all. But I figure you can’t misbehave when there are hundreds of children around. And if you do, I’ll push you into the alligator exhibit.”
“Ha, ha, very funny.” He unhooked his seatbelt and cocked an eyebrow her way. “And don’t underestimate my ability to misbehave. Alligators don’t scare me.”

Wanderlust is fun, funny, and oh so hot. Roni Loren pulled me in from the beginning and made me care about these characters and the story. Ms. Loren created great characters in the other band members. Fans of Michelle Valentine, Katie Ashley, and Kim Karr will enjoy Wanderlust.

From the New York Times bestselling author of the Loving on the Edge series and Off the Clock, a story of sex, love, rock & roll, and a reporter who’s about to learn a new meaning for staying on top of her assignment…

Restaurant critic Aubrey Bordelon is never at a loss for words to describe her meals in the fancy restaurants of New Orleans. But after her magazine’s high-profile music reporter falls ill, she finds herself out of her element and in a sea of screaming fans awaiting Wanderlust’s lead singer, Lex Logan. The sound of his voice gives her goosebumps, and the stage presence of the hard-bodied rock star takes her breath away. So when he pulls her onstage for a sexy stunt, she knows she’s in real trouble.

Lex doesn’t want to pretend that the sparks on stage between him and Aubrey never happened, but it certainly makes the fact that she’s writing a story on his band all the more dangerous. The last thing he needs is some nosy reporter revealing their problems to the world. But the sexy Southern belle doesn’t give up easily, and soon he’s wondering if the best way to chase her off the story is to coax her into his bed…
