Spotlight&Giveaway

Hi Nicole and welcome to HJ! We’re so excited to chat with you about your new release, Braydon!

Please summarize the book for the readers here:

BraydonBraydon Walker has always shared everything with his identical twin brother Brendon—hopes, dreams, career choices, and yes, even women. Known for tag-teaming their love interests in every way imaginable, Braydon is surprised and unnerved when he finds himself wanting to keep their newest lover all to himself. Will the twins’ relationship evolve to fit this new mold, or will Braydon’s desire for independence tear them apart?

Please share the opening line of this book:

Getting his feet to move in time with the music was harder than Braydon Walker anticipated. It had nothing to do with the fact that he was a poor dancer, either. In fact, he wasn’t all that bad. At least he didn’t think so.

Please share a few Random facts about this book…

Braydon, Jessie and Brendon’s relationship actually started in Travis (AI #3). Until Jessie, Braydon has never been with a woman on a 1×1 basis – his twin has always been there. Lorrie Walker – the Walker brothers mother – is meddling once again.

Please tell us a little about the characters in your book. As you wrote your protagonist was there anything about them that surprised you?

As with most of my characters, they usually surprise me. Braydon Walker has always been the laidback, go with the flow kind of guy but in this book, he finally comes to terms with what he wants. And what he wants, he isn’t willing to share anymore.

What, in your mind, distinguishes this book from other books out there in the same genre?

Braydon’s story is a roller coaster ride of emotions. The three main characters – Braydon, Jessie, and Brendon – are all attempting to find their way while understanding the changes to the dynamic between them. They all want the same thing – a happy ever after – but their visions for what that means are different. Of course there is still the erotic element as with all of my books that takes the reader on a sexy journey.

What scene did you have the most fun writing? Why?

I had so much fun writing the Sunday dinner scene with all the brothers. I love catching up with the Walkers. “When it came to family dinners, Braydon was familiar with the logistics. They would all get together at his parents’ house; his mother cooked, the women helped, and the men were responsible for cleaning up afterward. No one complained about it. Dinner was a chance for them to catch up on everything that was going on in each other’s lives. They were an extremely close family, and Braydon attributed that to his parents and their efforts to keep them all linked together all the time.”

What do you hope readers will take away from reading this book?

I hope readers will be able to connect with Braydon and Brendon and see just how these major changes in their lives affects them both. They’ve spent their entire lives sharing everything, including women. Braydon is ready to move on while Brendon is now left feeling as though he is flailing in the wind.

What are you currently working on? What other releases so you have planned for 2015?

At the moment, I’m actually working on two books. I’m finishing up Sawyer (AI #7) and I’m working on a standalone book. In 2015, my writing schedule is incredibly full and I’m anticipating quite a few books to release, including Sawyer and Brendon, as well as the first book in my Sniper 1 Security series, along with quite a few more.

I can’t wait to see how the twins work out this latest situation. It is never easy to be the one not chosen.

I am so glad that there is a new Alluring Indulgence book out!!!!
Can’t wait to read Braydon’s story as being a twin can be tricky at the best of times, let alone sleeping with the same girl 😉

I’m intrigued by the changing dynamics of the twins. Twin relationships are always hard to predict because it’s special. Twins seem to be in tune, understand, and complete each others thoughts and feeling. I would love to read this story that explores the change in this dynamic. Love changes a whole lot of things! 🙂

Thanks for the opportunity to share!

Writing twins can be tricky to not make them each fresh and interesting. I am excited to check out this new release!

I have a twin brother, so I’m always curious about how twins are written in movies and books. I’ve only read 1 twin brothers in love with the same girl title, so I’m interested in this trope. 🙂

I don’t think I’ve read a story about twins who used to share and one of them finding the one he doesn’t want to share. Nice change of pace.
