About the books:

Bound to the Bachelor by Sarah Mayberry

Lily Taylor knows Beau Bennett dislikes her, but that won’t stop her from asking him to volunteer for the Bachelor Auction she’s organized to help her friend Molly provide for her tragically injured son, Josh. If Beau’s gorgeous face, piercing blue eyes and chiseled body inspires the women of Marietta to dig into their pockets for a good cause, then Lily will do whatever it takes to secure his participation.

Beau Bennett isn’t sure how he wound up on the auction block being eyed up by hundreds of eager women, but he knows who to blame for it – Lily Taylor, the sexy, distracting, off-limits best friend of his kid sister. As far as he’s concerned, the sooner this nightmare is over, the better.

The last thing either of them expects is for Lily to wind up bidding on – and winning – Beau, or that their date will lead to Beau stepping in to save Lily when her past comes back to haunt her. As Beau does his best to keep Lily safe, they discover that maybe they don’t dislike each other quite as much as they thought.

In fact, maybe it’s just the opposite…

Your date with Parisian-trained chef Ryan Henderson promises you’ll get the best meal of your life cooked especially for you. His Red Velvet cheesecake is to die for – but we know he has even better desserts up his sleeve…
Bachelor at Her Bidding by Kate Hardy

How to win a girl in ten cakes…

When Dr. Rachel Cassidy comes back to Marietta with a broken heart and a divorce under her belt, going to a Bachelor Auction fund-raiser doesn’t sound like her idea of a good time – and when her sister and friends “buy” her a dinner date with sexy Parisian-trained pastry chef Ryan Henderson, that sounds even worse.

Ryan doesn’t have time for dating – he’s put his dreams to one side and come back to Marietta to look after his sick grandmother. But when he agrees to help a charity fundraiser by offering to cook a special meal to one lucky bidder, he gets more than he bargains for and discovers a woman he might just dare to let himself fall in love with.

Then tragedy strikes, just when Rachel and Ryan think they might have a future, opening up old scars and pushing them apart.

And if they’re to stand a chance of getting back together, then Ryan’s going to have to be seriously inventive. Can he win the love of his life with ten cakes?

I’d bid on Ryan. I love cheesecake and he can make it for me. But since Maria bid so much I’ll have to step back and wait for another bachelor. LOL

  2. Tina W

I’d bid my meager savings on Ryan. Since he’s a chef maybe I’d get a free breakfast out of it, too!

  3. taswmom

Wow! You ladies are bidding out of my league! But if I could win I’d take bachelor # 1. Beau seems like a good guy.

  4. Melody Gonser

Beau sounds great to me. His not liking her would be easier to overcome. If I had unlimited funds I might go $5,000. It’s for charity.

  5. Melody Gonser

I would choose Beau. Overcoming his dislike would be easier to deal with. If money were no object I would go $5000. It’s for a good cause, it’s charity. I want to thank you for your giveaway.

When I first read the information about the two bachelors that I would be bidding on, the red velvet cheesecake jumped out and I was all for bachelor number 2. When the author elaborated on Beau’s chiseled body and his desire to get this nightmare over ASAP , I changed my bid. I want Beau and will tap into my 401k to be sure that my bid is impressive.

  7. M. Maria T

Ryan Henderson – I’m already enchanted. My favorite type of romance involves male chefs- just something so sexy about a man who is in tune with his taste buds and who loves being creative and pleasing people with his creations. I’ll bid my life savings to have a chance to snag this artistic hottie.

  8. Colleen C.

Number 1 has caught my eye! Not a fan of fancy cuisine or cheesecake. Sadly my funds are low… I will have to pool all of my loose change and see what I have, lol.

  9. Inga

I would bid on #2 because he would be able to cook the meal. I’m not sure bidding is in the budget for me though.

  10. Cheryl Hastings

Bidding on Ryan…I like to eat more than ski! But I’m cheap, so bidding $500.00

  11. Sylve T.

il’ take number 2 please…i loves me a man who can cook…mostly because i don’t hahahaha

  12. Leanna

Bachelor #1 since I would get a great meal and a fun way to burn off the calories. I would bid $10,000 if I had the money.

  13. doveknoll

They both sound amazing and I would be happy with either of them. Of course, with the bids being so high I will have to be happy with none of the two. Maybe a sexy guy will come up next after everyone has already spent their money. Lol

  14. Ada

I’d definitely go with Beau but I don’t think I could bid that high! I might have to barter something instead 😀

  15. Anita H

Bachelor #2! And I’d pay up with a home cooked meal for his red velvet dessert. I don’t have nearly enough money as the previous bids!

  16. mrsmac19

I’d go for a date with Ryan! I’m a sucker for a guy that can cook since I’m a disaster in the kitchen! While I’d love to bid an insane amount of money, I don’t know that my teaching salary could support anything significant.

  17. Glenda S. Hefty

Wow…what fun to read all of the bids. But I have to say I’ll bow out on this one. Not that both of the bachelors don’t seem to be great but I am married, happily, and will be content to just enjoy the bids. And also, I’m dead broke and over 60 so they will have to stay dream material. But you all have fun and I’m watching the bidding wars…may the best woman win, LOL.

  18. laurieg72l

I’d love to spend the day on the slopes with Beau enjoying the scenery! A nice meal sounds perfect too. $500 would be my highest bid.
