The January Wish by Juliet Madison

JWFrom Escape’s queen of ro-magic comedy comes a sweet, emotional contemporary romance about the pleasures of making a wish and seeing it come true.

When Dr Sylvia Greene makes an impromptu wish at the Tarrin’s Bay Wishing Festival, it’s the most out of character action she can think of. Hers is not a life of wishes. Hers is a controlled life of order, plans and preparation…of science and research and diagnosis and treatment. But her past has been weighing on her mind, and decisions made long ago have far-reaching consequences.

A week later, the daughter she secretly gave up for adoption at sixteen arrives in Sylvia’s small coastal town with secrets that can’t be shared. Between feelings of guilt, gossip, and a growing attraction to an emotionally unavailable colleague, Sylvia’s well-ordered life is soon thrown into chaos. She is no longer alone, and for the first time she feels as if her world is open to possibilities.

They say be careful what you wish for, but, for Sylvia, the unexpected consequences may be just what the doctor ordered.

Under the protection of a UN convoy, she heads out into the war-torn countryside — and the unthinkable happens. Captured and held hostage by a renegade with no chance of escape, Ariadne’s hope for a new life with the man she loves begins to fade and the fight for her life begins.

In Safe Arms caught my eye, because I love the element of danger, a muscular man that wears leather and rides a motorcycle, and looking beyond the surface to find the real person. Thank you for the giveaway!

  2. martha lawson

In Safe Arms because of the cover, I do love a man with tats! I also love stories about bikers. Thanks for the chance.

  3. Tammy Y

The January Wish by Juliet Madison because it’s by Juliet Madison. Loved Fast Forward.

  4. Danielle

After reading King Hall, definitely King Cave! Commonly female leads in this genre are either insipid, or aloof and hard to relate to. Lily is the perfect paranormal heroine and Ezra is just plain hot!

  5. Barbara Hopkins

The one that really caught my eye was “The Holiday Survival Guide”. Why? Well, my life in that area is a major disaster, always has been.. So I really do need a survival guide.. B

  6. Leanna

The Holiday Survival Guide I love a good book about the holidays. I am still reading holiday books. Getting traped eith a hot guy for three days sounds great.

  7. marcyshuler

“Dear Stranger” caught my eye because I think it would be a bit of a shock to start to get answers to anonymous letters. LOL

I also have to give some love to my friend Nicole Flockton and her cute novella, “Tango Love.”

  8. Gretchen

Ok I couldn’t decide between 3. They all sounded amazing after reading the brief overviews. Dear Stranger, In Safe Arms, and Holiday Survival Guide all caught my eye and it’s just one of those days when I can’t make a decision.

  9. lisagk

The Holiday Survival Guide appeals to me, because he is mad that she ruined his life and they have to survive together, and I love the snuggle up cover. thanks for asking.

There’s some amazing new releases this month. I already have a copy of In Safe Arms by Lee Christine (I’ve been waiting a long time for this one to be released). But there’s still so many on this list that I can’t wait to read.

I really really want to read Dear Strange by Elise K. Ackles. The whole premise of the story really appeals to me and I’ve heard she’s a superb author. I also really want to read January Wish by Juliet Madison. I read her novella ‘I Dream of Johnny’ last year and couldn’t get enough. So e bundle One is my ideal read!

  11. Nicole Potter (@NiiArt)

Dear Stranger stuck out to me, because it sounded so sweet. I know a lot of single people who HATE Valentine’s Day, and it’s really nice to see someone trying to be optimistic and spread the love around!

TANGO LOVE grabbed my attention right away. I love dance in general but the Latin dances in particular; paso doble and tango (especially Argentine) are my favorites. I’m curious as to whether James steps up to be Melinda’s partner in life!

  17. Jennifer Zorko

Tango, Dear Stranger, and the rest all look good too. I love the covers and the descriptions hooked me. Thanks for the chance.
