Today, HJ is pleased to share with you Alexa Riley’s new release: Everything for Her

USA TODAY bestselling author Alexa Riley’s first full-length novel shows just what happens when a strong, possessive man finds the woman of his dreams

1216_97814880226613_everythingforherebookI’ll never forget the way she looked, so confident and sure of herself. I watched her from a distance. She wasn’t ready for me yet. I didn’t approach her and I didn’t disturb her, but I never once took my eyes off her.
Mallory Sullivan is ready to start her new life. After graduating at the top of her class, she’s landed one of the most coveted internships in the United States. Hard work and determination have gotten her to this moment of living the life she only dreamed of growing up in foster care.
From the start, I knew that she would be my greatest achievement, so the day I let her go, I set down a path for her. A path to me.
She never expected Oz to be the greatest culmination of those dreams. But sometimes fate determines who you fall in love with. Who makes you lose control. Who owns your soul.
And then you realize it wasn’t fate at all…
I’ve wanted to care for and protect her since the first moment I saw her. I’ve constructed everything in our lives so that at the perfect moment, I could have her, could give her the life she deserves.
The time has come.

I believe in both. With Faith it was meant to be and, with karama what ever you do comes back to you either good or bad.

  2. Cynthia P

I definitely believe that what a person puts out in the world eventually echoes back to them. It’s the energy; I don’t think it ever really dissipates.

  3. Erin

I’ve never really put much thought into my belief of fate or karma or destiny. What I do believe is that if you are open to new ideas and think positively, good things will happen eventually.

  4. Susan T.

Don’t know if it’s karma, fate or what but, what you put out is what you get in return.

  5. gemiinii90

Yes I do. In my culture most people believe in this so it always has stuck with me.

(PS: I live outside the US. But will gift the prize to a good friend in the US if I win)

I believe in fate and that things happen for a reason and you can’t change them… I told my mother long ago the day you are born you are predestined to die a certain day …. you have an expiration date that only god knows… in 2014 I had over 100 strokes in 3 days… I survived… had to relearn to walk and talk but I am still alive…. my cousin and my aunt both had 1 in the months that followed and died…..then in april of this year my 20 year old niece died in her home from natural causes… it was their time…. Karma is a bitch and I certainly believe what goes around comes around… I was molested growing up and told him I hope he died a slow painful death when I confronted him as an adult…. I wanted AIDS or something he got Diabetes… lost his toes then his foot and had a stroke…. ended up confined to a wheelchair and dying…. yeah Karma was a bitch for him but he got what he deserved….

  7. Morelia Garcia

I believe in both karma and fate! Whatever good you do, or bad that you do, the same will come back to you. And I do believe that some things are just already planned and are meant to happen, no decision making involved. If something were to be yours, then you would know.

  8. debby236

I do believe in Karma or fate. I have seen it at work. You meet people because you are in a specific place at a specific time.

  9. kermitsgirl

Yes, absolutely. I’ve always lived by “what goes around, comes around” because too often I’ve seen both good and evil deeds come back to the people that committed them.

My husband believes we were fated to be together, which always makes me laugh because there were tons of random events that led to us meeting – if any of them hadn’t happened, we never would’ve crossed paths.

  10. Amy Rickman

I do believe in karma, I’m sure I’ve seen it work for the positive and negative.

  11. Banana cake

I believe in fate, there are some things that are not in our control. Karma I also believe in you do something bad and it is going to come back and bad.

  12. Hillary Overton

I do believe in karma, I believe if you do nice for others then you’ll receive the same kindness you show others. The same if your mean or ungrateful twords others, what goes around comes around. ❤

  13. Marina

Yes i believe. Fate is like a book having our mysteries, secrets and future. And karma is part of fate. Be careful what you do ’cause will return to you twice.

  14. Tamicka Lecointe

I absolutely believe in a fate and destiny. I believe it’s our choices that help us or make us take a different path towards the same outcome in life.

  15. Colleen Galvan

I believe that fate puts things in your way but it is how you react to it that is your choice

  16. Preonshatae T. Evans

I believe in fate. There are some things that are out of my control that happen and I wonder how in the heck I get so lucky (or not so lucky..sometimes). Karma for sure! What you put out is what you get back

  17. Chele'

I definitely believe in karma! What goes around comes around. Fate? I’m not sure…..I think you can always change your destiny.

  18. Marcy Whittington Meyer

I do believe in fate, karma and destiny. I think we are living the lives we are meant to, and things happen to put us on that path. I do believe that karma is real. What you put out in the universe, you shall receive.

  19. Lisa H. S.

I believe everything happens for a reason. What the force behind it is – I have no clue.

  20. Alexis

Yes, I believe in all of the above! Karma especially because if you do something bad to someone whether it be human or animal it’s bound to backfire on you and something bad will end up happening to you.

  21. Melodi Flakes

I believ in fate! Why is easy. At 12 I laid eyes on boy in my school cafeteria. I lean over to my friend and pointed at the boy and told her ‘you see that boy? I’m going to marry him.’ 3 years later we started dating. 3 years after dating we married. We have been married 13 years 5months. Together 17 years. And we have 3 beautiful children! I saw my fate in the bluest eyes in my middle school cafeteria ❤️️

  22. Karla Pardo

I believe in fate because things that you can control always have a way of happening.

  23. Jenifer

I do believe in fate. I met my husband while in the military going to school. If I hadn’t chose the orders I did we would have never been in the same location. 16 years later we are still going strong.

  24. Colleen C.

I do believe in fate, but I also believe we have choices we make that affect our lives too.

  25. Kelly Castillo

I believe in fate because I feel like it’s just part of life. I have always been a believer in fate and destiny

  26. Brianna Dunn King

I definitely believe the universe has a natural order and that things always happen for a reason and that things always come back around no matter how positive or negative

  27. Latifa Morrisette

I do believe in fate and Karma. This is happen for a reason and we’re meant to be or meet someone at a specific time.

  28. Tamara Ackors

Yes I believe in karma. There’s been too may things I’ve either experienced first hand or seen to not believe. You get what you give good, bad, or otherwise.

  29. Stephanie Deskins

Yes, I believe in them all! I like to.believe that we have a soulmate out there which in turn could be either destiny or fate, and I believe that if we do bad or good things then we can receive good or bad karma.

  30. Ana Felisberto

I do believe in Karma because I see it demonstrated every day. I hope destiny exists.

  31. hoopsydaizy

I do believe in fate, karma and destiny. I believe in fate because I see fate (and destiny to be specific) to be self determination and motivation where you want to be. I don’t think there’s a mapped out specific situation for everyone – I think fate and destiny are completed and caused by your own mind. You create your past, present and future. I don’t see people being born as doctors… they choose to be doctors and that’s their fate they want to take.

Karma, definitely. Karma;s got everyones names, bad or good.

  32. Nina Cattanea

I do believe in fate/destiny. There are some things I have experienced that I feel prove this to be true!

  33. jennifer

I believe in all 3. But feel we all have some control of each. Good things to good people and al that…

  34. Darlene

I believe in all three. I just wish that karma didn’t take so long to come back around to some people.

  35. AmandaS

I absolutely believe in fate and that things happen for a reason in life. I also think that moments and important things come along when you need them the most. If something doesn’t work out for you I believe that it’s because there’s something better for you coming along.

  36. Juli Hall

I believe in Karma, If you do good to others you should get good in return., Also if you do bad
    you’ll get bad in return.

  37. Lauren H

I don’t believe in karma or fate. I think you should be a good person and do good things because it’s the right thing to do not because of some cosmic check and balance system.

  38. Barbara

I believe in fate and destiny! When I was 16 I met my husband at a teen dance. We have been married for 45yrs!

  39. Krysten M

Definitely believe in fate! There are just some things that happen for a reason 🙂

  40. angel crum

Yes I believe Karma is part of life, I call it ripples in the pond, everything you do causes ripples, good or bad

  41. pouncey70

I definitely believe in fate, karma and destiny. Too much has happened in my life for me not too. Thank you so much for the fantastic giveaway. Good luck everyone 🙂

  42. traymona

I believe in karma. I have watched numerous times that people who have judged me end up walking a mile in my shoes.

  43. Amber M

I believe in there being a purpose and a destiny for all of us no matter who we are or where we are in our life. We were each put on this Earth to fulfill a purpose, and nothing can ever stand in the way of that.

  44. Kim M

I like to believe that things happen for a reason. I just don’t know if fate, karma or destiny actually plays a role.

  45. Lexee Toste

I do believe in Destiny because I’ve just seen/heard some things that are too coincidental otherwise

  46. Sandra Murphy

I believe in karma. Cause and effect, ones actions definitely influence the future of an individual.

  47. Paula DeBoer

Yes I believe in karma and destiny I think everything happens for a reason and sometimes it’s horrible sometimes it’s good I think it’s to see yourself and have faith in yourself no matter what.

  48. Barb Muse

I absolutely believe in karma, that what you put out into the universe will come back to you and that it is always better to be kind so that you will receive kindness in return.

  49. Sami Rigsby

I didn’t believe in fate until I had my kids. Now I pretty much believe in anything. A lot of it is left up to interpretation. Some people are completely content in not believing in anything. I personally have to believe in something. Whether it be fate, destiny or something else.

  50. Sheryl

Absolutely!! I have been bitten by karma myself. Also, I have been wronged by others and have seen their visit by karma. Not as sure I believe in Destiny though.

  51. Misty Schott

I believe in karma/destiny. I think you reap what you sow and I believe everyone is meant for something.

  52. mkcooke

I definitely believe in karma. I think you get back what you put into this world. I also do believe things really happen for a reason, even if we don’t know why at the time.

  53. Heather Merriman

Yes, I thing what goes around comes around and I think that things happen for a reason.

  54. Trisy Arceo

YES! I absolutely believe in karma, fate, destiny etc. I believe there’s a reason for everything, good or bad…

  55. Veronika

I believe in all three! I think they have to exist to explain some of the things that happen in life.

  56. Kristina O

I don’t. Free will interrupts fate and destiny. And karma, I wish, but there’s too much badness

  57. Cynthia Hurst

I am a firm believer in karma; seen it bite people! I think fate is possible but I’m not sold on destiny. I think we can create our own path!

  58. Gabriela R.

Yes, I believe in those things. I’ve seen a lot of things, good and bad happen to people. And I believe their actions are what brought on those things to them.

    P.S. I LOVE Alexa Riley!!

  59. heta shah

I believe in karma. I have seen in my life and in life of others happening many things that only logical explanation is ‘karma’

  60. Tiffany Johnson

I do to a certain extent, but I believe you can change your path with your decisions, like there are many roads laid out and your decisions lead you to your destiny. Some things are fated regardless.

  61. Vicki Highley

Yes, I do, but I also believe that we can make our own way in like. Karma, fate and destiny are what makes you .

  62. Judy

Yes, karma for sure. Give goodness & kindness & you will receive it as well. Negativity breeds negativity.

  63. griseldaevn

I do believe in the three of them actually, i think that things happen for a reason and that they are always the way that should be, saying that i also believe that you can somewhat alter what could happen. I definetly believe in karma, I think that people always get what they deserve.

  64. Vickie Carter

I believe in Karma, you know “what comes around goes around”. If you treat people bad it’s going to come back on you.

  65. Beth

Yes. I do believe in Karma. What goes around comes back around. Definitely believe treat others how you want to be treated.

  66. shygirl19748

I believe some things are meant to be or are ‘fated’ but that ultimately the choices we make and our destiny is up to us.

  67. April R

Yes, because everything in life has a reaction to what we do so… Some things are fate, some are karma and some are just bad juju but what ever it is, just roll with it. I have seen too many things to just call it chance. In this life, never is anything just chance. So Yes, I will believe in Fate and Karama 😉

  68. Bambing Dela Cruz

I don’t believe in karma as that’s saying you only get what you deserve, which is not always true.

  69. Raeline Peterson

Sometimes i believe in karma, but destiny, and fate no i think ppl make their own fate and destiny.

  70. veRONIca

I believe in karma, mostly because I have to. If I didn’t believe that someone who did something bad, didn’t have something bad happen to them, then I would focus too much on what they did. This way I can let it go, knowing that they’ll get theirs

  71. Jennifer Scarn

I want to say yes – I do. Sometimes things just work out so well and I just trust things to go as they will. But if that’s true, why do I stress and plan? I have no idea honestly

  72. Kim

I do believe in Karma. I’m not sure about fate or destiny, but I believe how you act and treat others will come back to you in some way, shape, or form.

  73. Felicia Scammell

I absolutely believe in karma, fate and destiny. Karma because obviously what goes around comes around. Fate and destiny to me are what is meant to be. I think things happen for a reason. Thanks for the chance in the giveaway. Excited for this book! Counting down…

  74. Ali

I absolutely believe in karma. Everything we do as humans has an impact and effect on each other and the world we live in. The results, actions, and reactions of our choices may not be immediately revealed, but I do believe they will come about. I think if everyone believed and acknowledged that every choice, good or bad, has consequences, we would live in a much more compassionate society.

  75. Heather S.

I don’t really believe in any of those. It’s easier to tell yourself that things happen for a reason or what goes around comes around. However, I don’t see any evidence of that.

  76. Nadine

Yes I believe in fate/destiny and karma, but I also believe you need to help it along. You may be meant for something but you need to work to get all the pieces lined up

  77. Gracie

Absolutely! Karma, fate, destiny, a higher power… I wouldn’t be where I am today otherwise

  78. Fleming

I go back and forth. I like the idea of free will, but there is something comforting in a predetermined outcome…

  79. Joanne Vincenti

yes I do believe — what goes around does come around and things happen for a reason — I do believe we can change and alter some things

  80. kelly poxon

I believe in karma and “what goes around comes around”. But not so sure in fate and destiny as I think you make your own. X

  81. Amanda

I have always believed in Karma cause I feel like I have seen it happen in life. I believe fate to an extent. I think that there are certain things that are meant to happen to us, but not everything is set in stone.

  82. Tiffanee Wylie

I believe that everything happens for a reason and that there is a plan for your life set in motion the day your born. I also think that you sow what you reap so be careful what you do in life.

  83. Olga The.Rebel.Reader

I believe in fate. But I also believe that the decision one makes can lead to shaping one’s destiny.

  84. Penni G.

I absolutely believe in fate, it’s how I met my husband. I also however believe that you find the right person, at the right time. My hubby and I had met while I was married to my first husband and when my world came crashing down and I found out I had been lied to, cheated on, etc, fate stepped in and handed me my current hubby to put my pieces all back together 🙂

  85. msdebms

Yes, I believe in the possibility of all three. There are so many things we don’t know or understand (and , I think, are not meant to) about the spiritual world. Fate, Karma and Destiny are just the tip of the iceberg.

  86. Lisa M

i do believe in karma and fate … I’ve seen karma work her magic 😉 and fate is just something I’ve always believed in

  87. Dawn Marie Burke

I absolutely believe in fate and karma without a doubt however I believe we all hold our own destiny’s in our hands that can be affected by choices we make.

  88. Noelle Sollivan

I believe in Karma and Fate!
What goes around comes around and we are destined to be in particular places at particular times!

  89. Jenene M

Yes I believe in fate, Karma, Destiny. I believe that there is a reaction to every action good a bad.

  90. Linda Brennan

I like to believe in karma – what goes around comes around, but I’m not sure it’s always the case. I believe in fate – that everything happens for a reason. Thanks for the chance to win!!

  91. Chelle Waldrop

I believe in all 3… Good or bad… Do good get good, do bad get bad, and I believe fate and destiny are the same thing… Only we call it destiny when it works in our favor, and we call it fate when, it works against us…

  92. M. Keep

I think things are all random… but that’s where the fun comes in. If everything is random and nothing is meant to be, then that means we give things our own meaning and value. It means despite all the odds of a random, chaotic universe, we’ve still managed to find joy and love.

  93. Jennifer Zorko

Yes, I believe in fate. There is a reason behind everything, and I believe that fate steps in when you least expect it.

  94. Kimberly Addison

Yes I do. When I met my husband it’s like our souls knew each other. And that’s only one example. Fate, karma, destiny…all of it plays a roll in all of our lives.

  95. Jade M.

I’m not sure if I believe in destiny/fate or not. Part of me thinks that yes everything happens for a reason and that some things are just bound to happen. But a larger part of me fights that because I don’t like the idea of not having control in my life.

  96. Megan Rose

I don’t believe in fate or karma. I think that sometimes crappy things happen for no reason, and great things can happen for no reason. That’s why I love books so much, particularly romance. Because fate and karma are romantic notions in my head, and sometimes the real world just isn’t as romantic as we wish it was. It is awesome to be able to read stories that can take you away from that.

  97. smcmahon19

I believe in Karma!☘️ Good or positive thoughts can attract good and positive back… I like doing good things for others and feel like I get that back in return…

  98. Andrea McParland

I believe in destiny. I would not have met my husband if other people’s decisions had not brought us together.

  99. Jennifer Schultheis

I certainly believe in karma. I’ve seen it come around and it’s glorious. I do believe in fate, as well, I think are lives are already in set in motion before we’re born.

  100. Jenn McElroy

I absolutely believe in karma! I’m not a religious person, but I believe that the universe provides for a balance of sorts. I’ve watched karma bite people in the ass before!

  101. Meredith Miller

Yes and no. I always hope that bad people will someday get theirs, but wonder where my good karma’s rewards are!

  102. Ada

Yes, I believe in karma. If you do good, good will come back to you. As the saying goes: What goes around, comes around!

  103. Lori Byrd

I do believe in fate and karma. If you are a good person your life will exude love, if you are a bad person, your life will reflect the bad. This is what I’ve found.

  104. Jamilynn Hanson

I used to a long time ago, but I lost what I believed to have been fate and I’m only left with what might have beens.

  105. Casey Britton

I do. Things might not always turn out how we want them to, but I do believe there is a reason for everything that happens.

  106. Misty

A wee bit of all. I enjoy finding the coincidences in life that brought people together.

  107. Kristina

I believe in all of them. I think there is a reason for everything that happens in your life

  108. Amber

I think it’s a mix…something’s are meant to be, like fixed points, while others are chance. I want Karma to be real, I’d just like to see its existence proved once.

  109. Samantha

I believe that everything happens for a reason. Whether it’s destiny, fate, or karma there is ALWAYS a reason for it.

  110. Nicole Johnson

I do believe in fate. Everything happens for a reason even if you can’t figure it out right away.

  111. Julia

I believe in fate because I feel in love with a man that saw what I liked like on the outside but on the inside as well. And he consistently gets on me when I put myself down. He loves the big butt, thighs, and boobs. When I gave up on love God sent me someone to love all of me and then some. Alexa Riley continue doing what you do I love your books.

  112. Anita H.

Oh yes for sure. I totally believe that things happen for a reason and some things are just meant to be!

  113. Cece Garceau

Karma! What comes around goes around. Basically, as my mama says, you get more with honey.

  114. Jessica Ramsey

I believe in good/bad karma. I see it happen all the time. What goes around comes around.

  115. Katrina

Yes, i do. I believe in all of them. Karma i have seen in action both good and bad far to many times to discount it.
Fate, i met my husband by total chance after a disastrous divorce and swearing to never trust again. He broke through those walls and got me to believe in fate. He always says we were destined to be together, everything before was just a warm up to forever.

  116. Jamie

I do believe in destiny, I felt something step in a overwhelm me when I met my husband. 16 years later I still remember the feeling of “Woah… what just happened?” As for karma, I have to hope thats not true. I’ve had WAY too many terrible things happen to me in my life, and I believe I’m a pretty good person, who hasn’t *deserved* them.

  117. Jean Torgeson White

I believe in fate/destiny because my husband and I almost met 4 times before we actually did meet. We had to grow up so that we could appreciate each other.

  118. Cait Day

I definitely believe in Karma. I have seen it in action. What comes around eventually goes around. It just sometimes takes longer than others.

  119. Sabrina Joy

I believe in karma because when I do something wrong or bad, I know it comes back to me sometimes. And I do really believe in the whole what goes around comes around. When you do good things and keep positive, you can a lot of good luck and feel happy for yourself. You feel at peace from circulating goodness, and this has actually happened to me at a certain time in my life. And because of that time, I definitely believe in karma.

  120. Katrina Dehart

Definitely believe iin karma! You get what you give. Fate and destiny… Yes! I believe we chose what we wanted in this life and the people we wanted in it.

  121. Marcie L.

I do believe in destiny! We were all here put on earth to do great things! Our destiny is to follow them through and make them happen!

  122. Meg Rhea

Um… yes and no. A lot of times I believe we make things happen by the decisions we make and other times things happen for a reason.

  123. Gabby And Her Boys

I don’t know that I call it Karma, but I think that everyone gets punished or rewarded for their deeds. We might not see those rewards or punishments, but people have to suffer the consequences and sometimes suffering in silence is the worst punishment.

  124. Carol Hall

Yes I do believe in Karma and reincarnation. Whenever I meet people and feel I instantly know them, it’s from a prior life. I’m certain.

  125. Patricia B.

Yes, I believe I do. My husband and I attended one class together in high school, but didn’t know each other well. He moved away, but we wrote each other a couple of times a year just to keep in touch. Seven years later, after college and my going overseas and his joining the Air Force, we met up again for a couple of days when I visited my cousin in CA on my way home to NY. We saw each other 3 times (dinner at my cousins, his taking the 4 of us out to dinner, and a short bye when I left). We both left knowing in our hearts that we needed to find a way to live close enough to see each other. Fate stepped in and he decided not to wait, but flew to where I was working overseas and proposed 5 months later. All because we happened to meet again in CA.

  126. Stephanie Lamb

Yes I do. And I’ve never really thought about why I do. I’ve seen karma happen so fate and destiny must be real too! Thanks for the chance! Happy Holidays

  127. a pike

I believe in karma because I believe what comes around goes around. And, I met one of my best friends in law school. He and I just clicked its like we knew each other before (but not in this life since we lived in different states).

  128. Judy Schechter

I definitely believe in karma and what goes around comes around! But as far as fate I believe that our choices play a huge role in what happens to us. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

  129. drmchr

I believe in all three. Karma has a way of catching up with you. My bible says do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If you do something bad to someone or something (animals) then it will come back to you eventually. That happened to my ex! I believe destiny plays a part in all our lives. When something good or bad happenes through not fault of our own, that means it was destiny that played a part in our lives.

  130. Jennifer L

I believe Karma comes to those who do bad things moreso than people who do good. It is usually very ironic karma as well. Fate and destiny I am not too much of a believer in.

I believe in fate and destiny because sometimes no matter how hard you tried to change something it’s just not possible. I’m still undecided on Karma I have seen it work but I have also seen it do nothing.

Yes i do believe in fate and destiny works together do whatever you want if that person is in your destiny then no one will be able to separate you only God knows the best for you. I do not believe in karma because only God knows the intention of the person and HE is the one to decide whether to punish them or not if they deserve the punishment, they will get it and if not then God will give them in a blessing way.
