Sadly I have not read any of these books. I can never remember great quotes from books. I know Julie James has some great lines in her books.

Thanks for the list Whitney, you are obviously a KA fan ๐Ÿ™‚

I generally don’t remember quotes, though I’ve started to highlight things more now in my ereader so that I can quote them in reviews.

My favourite quote is from a historical romance by Erica Monroe, called A Dangerous Invitation. In the story, Kate’s lover Daniel has returned to try to clear his name of a murder charge, and she is trying hard not to fall for him again.

‘I cared about you Daniel, I would have run away with you.’ Those thoughts rose up, gossamer threads to be snipped by rusted scissors when she remembered their place.

This funny one still makes me laugh! It’s from Laura Kaye’s M/M story in her Hard Ink series, HARD TO BE GOOD.
โ€œHe had a good ten inches of long, hard cock. It was like learning unicorns were real.โ€

    Inspirational:
“Happiness wasn’t something you found, happiness was something you made-by living in the moment, by cherishing the people in your life right now, by finding the courage to change those things you didn’t like.” – HARD AS IT GETS by Laura Kaye.

  4. Tammy Y

I can never remember my favorite quotes – but they come from Catch of the Day by Kristan Higgins I bet.

I love the quote about the best books are the most difficult to read…I have found its true. I love the tough and gritty romances, The ones that make you think about deeper issues.
