In A Cinderella for the Greek by Julia James, Cruelly mistreated by A-Cinderella-for-the-Greekher stepfamily, Ellen Mountford retreated to the shadows of her father’s home, feeling unworthy and unloved. But when powerful tycoon Max Vasilikos wants to buy the glorious English country estate, Ellen can hide no longer…

Under the scrutiny of the Greek’s arrogant stare, Ellen fights the urge to retreat further and stands up to him, yet Max is relentless. He tempts her out to a glamorous charity gala, where Ellen is transformed from dowdy recluse to belle of the ball. Now there is a new glint in Max’s eye that is even more devastating…seduction!

The Cinderella trope never gets old and it holds true for this latest offering from Julia James too.

Ellen is not the typical damsel in distress as I expected. She has spine and does stand up to Max. She was caring, sweet and despite the way her step family treated her, she emerged stronger in the end. Max is an alpha hero who transforms Ellen and gives her the confidence she needs. I liked how he supported her in his own way. The romance was sweet and passionate because I liked the main character’s chemistry. The plot is simple and there is not much to add about the same.

Overall, A Cinderella for the Greek by Julia James is an enjoyable romance for all the Cinderella lovers out there!
