“There’s still leftover Chinese from last night,” he reminded
her. “No wine, though.” He pulled her back against his body and
nuzzled behind her ear. “I’d be happy to run out for more, assuming
you’ll let me lick it from your body the way we did before. Or, we
could just improvise with whipped cream…if there’s any left.”
“Sounds interesting, very interesting in fact.” As she was
quickly discovering, when it came to making love, Santa knew
best.

Pushing the Limits by Nancy Fraser is a sexy office romance with a solid plot. It has conflict and the character growth is quite steady throughout the story. The ending wrapped up the story very neatly and nothing felt incomplete or missing. Julia is a attorney who is strong and self sufficient in every way. She was confident and a good match for Cade. They both shared an enjoyable chemistry and their dialogues were fun to read.

Overall, Pushing the Limits by Nancy Fraser is the perfect short office romance which kicks off due to a mistaken identity. With fun characters and an enjoyable story line, it makes a perfect novella.
