In Rough Justice (Sinner’s Tribe Motorcycle Club #1)  by Sarah Castille, Growing up as the president’s daughter of outlaw motorcycle club the Black Jacks was brutal, but it has taught Arianne “Vexy” Wilder how to stand on her own two feet. She’s about to use that knowledge to flee the country and start a new life when all hell breaks loose. Suddenly held captive by her father’s nemesis, the Sinner’s Tribe, Arianne meets her match in their leader Jagger Knight. As their crazy chemistry threatens to blow the roof off the clubhouse, she has to decide if she can betray her father, and if she can ever walk away from Jagger.

Seemingly unconcerned by the approaching motorcycles, Jagger squeezed her hand. “You’ll be safe with me, Arianne.”

For an instant she didn’t move, wanting, hoping, then she swung her leg over the back of his bike. “If you’re lying to me, Jagger, I’ll put a knife through your heart.”

“Sweetheart, you already did.”

Jagger Knight takes pride in his role as President of the Sinner’s Tribe in Conundrum, Montana, although he realizes it puts a target on his back. Past events have also shown him that getting involved with a woman can be used against him by his enemies. So when Jagger and his crew of outlaws have no choice but to hold Arianne after a recent attack, he knows better than to get too close. Against his better judgement, Jagger gives in to the magnetic force that pulls them together while the battle between the Sinner’s and the Black Jacks wages on. Can he find a way to keep Arianne in his life without getting them all killed in the process?

‘Family. Freedom. Brotherhood. Loyalty. Honor. This was his world. Their world. Arianne was part of them–part of him. And he would move hell and earth to protect her. He would not fail.’

So. Hot. Rough Justice was one thrill-ride of a romance that had heat, pulse pounding action, and some seriously badass bikers. *fans face*

What a terrific way to start off a new series. I’ve read a few motorcycle club books before, so I realized how brutal and intense that world can be, but author Sarah Castille took it up a notch with Jagger and Arianne’s story. Here, we get an in-depth look into the inner workings and politics in MCs. Now, I may not agree with the way women are typically treated, but at least the Sinner’s tried to ensure women were protected and not hurt. (Unlike the Black Jacks) Make no mistake. Jagger and his crew were absolutely outlaws. But I liked that they did have a code they lived by and a collective conscience between them.

I would seriously have to rank this story as five plus stars as far as the hotness factor. Ms. Castille knows how to write a steamy, sizzling romance. Combining Arianne, who is brave, fiercely independent, and all female, with dominant alpha-male Jagger was perfection. I loved that it was a toss-up between them as to who had the dirtier mouth! 😉 It made their dialogue so sinfully fun to read. And it was nice to have a heroine who could hold her own with the guys yet who also completely owned her sexuality. It was a nice change of pace to see two such strong characters together.

Rough Justice had just the right mix of heart-stopping action scenes with wild down & dirty love scenes. A definite must for fans of MC stories.
