The Billionaire’s Christmas Baby by Victoria James was a heart-warming and emotional holiday story filled with sorrow, love and hope that captured my attention from the beginning. I enjoyed the witty dialogue between the two main characters and the pace of the story was smooth and flowed quite nicely without missing a beat.

I really enjoyed the heroine, Hannah Woods and her determination in making sure baby Emily would not fall into the foster care system after her mom, Louisa, TBCBabandoned her baby and took her own life. Hannah knew what it was like being abandoned and she would do whatever it took to track down Jackson Pierce, Emily’s uncle and convince him to adopt the sweet baby. She had her own demons she was fighting but that did not stop her from barging in on Jackson at his vacation cabin in the middle of a snow storm. Their first encounter was anything but friendly but that did not stop Hannah from giving it her all.

The hero, Jackson Pierce had a rough childhood and left home and changed his name after feeling abandoned by the sister he always protected. Jackson was unreasonable at first when it came to hearing anything that had to do with the baby but it was understandable because he was guarding his heart. You couldn’t help but feel sympathetic towards him when more of his past came out and it was heartbreaking to learn what happened after his Mother’s death and the deterioration of his once close relationship to Louisa.

I loved the relationship between Jackson and Hannah after their rough beginning. The characters had great chemistry together and their romance was sweet and sensual. Jackson treated Hannah with such tenderness and the love and acceptance he showed Emily just melted my heart. Jackson showed his true romantic side towards the end and this couple deserved their happily ever after. I would recommend this story to romance readers; you will not be disappointed.
