The Cost of the Forbidden by Carol Marinelli was a well written romance about a fling that turns out to be something more. It was an easy, light romance without too much drama and angst going on. It had many interesting situations that kept me hooked till the end.

The romance is hot and passionate due to the amazing chemistry Sev and Naomi share. The sparks kept flying everywhere with those two. Naomi and Sev are both likable characters and have a great character development throughout the story. Sev did take some time to grow on me because he was a real jerk in the beginning.

Overall,The Cost of the Forbidden by Carol Marinelli is an enjoyable romance that definitely does not disappoint!
