The-Fling-That-Changed-Everything-Wildfire-Island-Docs-6In The Fling That Changed Everything by Alison Roberts, Becoming a Wildfire Island paramedic is a dream come true for Lia Roselli—a chance for travel and adventure. What she doesn’t expect is to fall in lust with her boss, Dr. Sam Taylor…

Romantic entanglement is the last thing on Sam’s mind; he’s been badly burned by divorce. Yet there’s no denying the passion that flares between them, and it’s so much more than physical! As everything starts to change it’s clear that Lia is tempting him to try love again!

A well written romance on the second chance/from fling to love trope with a simple and enjoyable plot line. It took time to get hooked at first but as the story progressed,it did get better and enjoyable. Lia is a free spirited heroine who loves what she does. She was really adorable and it was easy to fall in love with her. Sam is a reluctant hero who doesn’t believe in romance anymore. He needed Lia to make him move on from his past to a much brighter future. The romance is a little slow paced, emotional, passionate and enjoyable. The medical details were really good and in abundance. Overall an enjoyable romance with adorable characters and a good buildup.
