A well written romance and my favorite book in this series, The Playboy’s Ruthless Pursuit hits all the right notes and can be easily read as a standalone. Alice is a strong feisty yet vulnerable heroine. She was the perfect heroine for Jeremy because she knew exactly how to handle him. As a hero, Jeremy too was perfect because he was sexy, intense and charming. He stays away from any form of love or commitment with the help of this playboy persona. Seeing him come out of the image he had projected to keep the world at bay was the best part of the story according to me. The romance has a good amount of emotion along with passion and is fast paced which kept me hooked throughout. Overall, one of the best harlequins this month and should not be missed at any cost!
