Spotlight&Giveaway

Hi Kait and welcome to HJ! We’re so excited to chat with you about your new release, Wicked Cowboy Wolf!

Please summarize the book for the readers here:

Wicked Cowboy Wolf is the third book in my dark and dangerous Seven Range Shifter series, where the sexy cowboy heroes are ranchers by day, wolf shifters by night.

Wicked Cowboy Wolf follows Grey Wolf heroine, Maeve Grey, younger sister to the Grey Wolf packmaster as she partners with a mysterious criminal wolf known only as Rogue to save her pack, her family, from destruction at the hands of their vampire enemies.

It’s a delicious sultry romance with a tortured cowboy wolf hero, a cowgirl wolf shifter heroine who won’t take any of his crap, lots of witty banter, a crazy teacup pig, plots twists, mistaken identities, and love that spans over a decade. I’m really proud of this book. It’s kind of the book of my heart—everything I love to read rolled into one.

Please share a few Fun facts about this book…

-The heroine, Maeve, owns a teacup pig named Tucker, who causes all sorts of humorous antics and banter between vegetarian Maeve and cowboy wolf hero, Rogue. Maeve’s Tucker is based on a pig my parents own by the same name, so Tucker is 100% real.
-The name for Rogue’s ranch, Black Hollow, was chosen by one of my long-time readers when I posted on Facebook asking for help naming his ranch. Thanks, Sher!
-From day 1 of when I began writing this book, I imagined the hero, Rogue, as Cillian Murphy playing Tommy in the British historical drama Peaky Blinders, and for those who are fans of that show, yes, I did listen to “Red Right Hand” a million times for inspiration while writing this book, and yes, that’s 100% the reason that Rogue has an undercut and such sharp cheekbones.

What do you want people to take away from reading this book?

First and foremost, I want it to be a fun, romantic, sexy read that captivates readers. Whatever they take away from the “message” of the book is up to their individual interpretation, but if I had to pinpoint a specific message that I think they’ll take away from it, it would be that when you love someone deeply, you’ll go to the ends of the earth to make them happy and often those with the darkest pasts are in need of love the most.

Thanks for blogging at HJ!
