The Texan’s Royal MD by Merline Lovelace: Sometimes things really are too good to be true and sometimes you just The-Texans-Royal-M.Dneed to have a few bumps so make things perfect.

Anastazia, Zia, St. Sebastian couldn’t believe how close she had become to her “new found” family in such a short amount of time. Add to that going through med school and finishing her residency, it was amazing how quickly time had flown. Now though she had to make a decision would it be research or hands on work that would get her through her career?

Mike Brennan had never been a plodding sort of a man. It seemed he always leapt before he looked. Perhaps that’s why his first marriage didn’t last so long. Or why he saved his friends life in a Typhoon. All he knows right now is that when he wants something he is going to get it.

When Zia saves Mike’s nephew at the beach it’s life altering and not just for his nephew. Mike knows Zia is the one he has to have, but she has some decisions to make. Add to the mix drugs with a connection to so many bad people you can’t count. Two very large and connected families oh and forgot to mention Zia also happens to be a Princess. At the end of the day can these two find a way to be together forever?

The Texan’s Royal MD by Merline Lovelace is part of the Duchess Diaries series. It is a quick interesting read. It is a bit choppy and did have a few points where I would hope having read the other books in the series would have been more helpful in discerning the plot line. The characters were very intriguing and definitely left me wanting to know more about them and their motivations. Over all this was a cute, quick story for anyone looking for a light read.

Thanks for the review, Valerie. I was happily reading this and then stumbled when I got to the part about drugs? LOL Not sure if I’ll try this book.

Thanks for the review. Not reading many Desires these days. Just a select few.
