This was book one of the Harts of Rodeo Series and boy what a start ! Aidan (or Ace as he is known by friends) is the most loyal kind of guy you will find. Strong,sexy,dependent and always there to help plus bonus he loves animals! Only as loyal as he is to his families ranch he has never been that committed to the one woman that holds his heart.
Yes ladies we have a “if there is a job to do or someone that needs help I am out of here date or no date ” kind of man. But as the blurb suggests the man is serious about taking care of his child. And what followed was a sweet adorable romantic read about two people who both have their own ideas about raising a child and being apart of each others lives. Their unbridled passion for each other really heated up the pages and had me rooting for them all the way.
I loved how the author introduced me to the family, friends and other members of the town,making sure to let you get to know everyone and at the same time intriguing you just enough to make you wonder what lies behind everyone’s image they try to uphold. She also introduced me to one heck of a gorgeous horse !
I laughed out loud at Aidan’s various attempts at getting Flynn to agree to marry him and I also felt really sad each time he failed.But I also loved how the author showed just exactly how Aidan realises what Flynn really needs. Aidan’s sense of humor was to die for !But one thing I will say is this is one cowboy that you will not want to miss. I for one I am looking forward to the next installment of the series … Colton Rodeo Cowboy
